@@bugayden2287 In a very "brief" nutshell, the man with the dark short hair, (the one who is seen falling later in the video) has lost all memory of who he is and needs to travel to a faraway city to regain his memories. The lady traveling with him guides him there, becoming close friends along the way. The two other character they meet along the way are heading to the same city. This video is a brief summary of their journey, and what happens when they arrive in the city. There are many things that continue after they reach the city, so you may see more animatics on these characters later. I'm glad you liked the video!

And since this time was primarily caused by a person other than myself, I always interpreted "you caused it" As blaming someone else and being bitter towards them (since I was) it's interesting to see it as the song telling you, the listener, that it's your fault

I remember the first time I watched this (maybe 3 or 4 years ago?) when I was younget and I cried really hard even though I didn't know who were these characters nor the story, but now I'm older and rewatching for nostalgia and it still hits really hard

Okay, what's the story behind the four? I'm terrible at guessing stories from animatics, I usually go to the comments to see, but there's no explanation T-T Here's what I got, though: Four childhood friends. They grew up. Two of them died, the one with glasses, and one of the ones with short hair. The girl with long hair tried to save one of them, but couldn't. Someone died in a burning building. The two short haired ones used to have sword practice together, they were probably very close. When one of the short haired ones died, the other became an alcoholic ("setting fire to our insides for fun") and the girl became depressed and emotionless ("cause most of are feeling they are dead and they are gone"). The two that are alive have drifted apart because it's too painful to be together when it's not all four of them. Idk. Something like that.

Pretty close! Only the kid with curly hair and the kid with glasses are childhood friends. The girl and the other guy met where the beginning of the story takes place. There is quite a bit of story to unpack, so I'm afraid I can't tell it all here, but stick around and you'll see more of them.

this is one of the best oc vids I've seen in a while. Its already hard enough to make the viewer form an emotional attachment with a character in this short of a video, but to do it with 4 and with virtually no backstory or context provided to the viewer- that's _seriously_ cool. _-additionally I used to have recurring dreams that centered around a group of kids kind of like this one so ngl this vid has me a little fucked up lol-_

@@seineevee absolutely! I usually write the full story as a book and make animatics or animations to go along with them, and I am still doing that. However the process has slowed since I am now a full time student! When they are finished, I intend to make them public :]

After watching it a second time, I've got a few questions: who's the kid with horns? Did the childhood friend knew the other kid would fall down the (probably) cliff? Why did he even go in that house? And why did the eyes of the kid with glasses glow blue?

I just want to point out that the girl with that saber had a huge advantage over the boy. The boy had a one handed long sword, which is very impractical because he would lose a ton of control which would result in overswinging, leaving him open. This is just what I see, other than this and the fact that a girl has a bow, this was great.
