All three boys wrestled in their first wrestling tournament of the fall season 2021. This is a local tournament and a great one to knock off the rust.
Huge shout out to the tournament directors for putting on a smooth tourney, for the great coaches and team as well for all the tough kids that showed up and wrestled today.
We are very grateful to wrestle. It was fun to see Briggs our 4 year old son go out and wrestle.
One of the things we worked on at this tournament was the very basics. Get a rake down, let me up and keep repeating til the end of the match and try for a pin.
This way we can knock off some of the rust snd get the butterflies out of the system to prep for bigger and more difficult tournaments.

Just remember, it’s about the process. Winning state is an awesome goal. I hope you do it. But it’s the daily victories you obtain training for that goal that make you a champion.
