Hi Sarah thanks for your Videos! I am just wondering, the Thin Skin Rule (Take the victim as you would find him) is opposed to the Subsequent Cause (You would not be responsible for C's death cause the lightning is never ever foreseable. Same to the cancer, it is never ever foreseable cause I, as an employer, and also my employee himself, would never ever know that he gets a dormant cancer in his body!) Does the harm considered as foreseeable under the establishment of the duty of care be of the same extent as what occurs under a breach of duty, i.e. the risk of a chair being broken when a heavy weight is applied as opposed to it actually splintering into pieces

@@olakunleonagoruwa3128 The foreseeability of harm under duty is to establish the relationship between the claimant and defendant. Breach is around the defendant's behaviour - the standards of care is how good they have to be and the risk factor holds them up against those standards to see whether they have met them or fallen below them. The damage/injury part is considered under breach of duty causes damage.
