So, I am going out on a limb here and saying that we now know which foundation is going to be #15 in the ratings! Also, I think Ulta needs to product tester's because whoever tested this product failed miserably. Thank you for taking one for the team as it was very brave to go out of the house with this foundation. Frankly, I would have been fine with you packing it in and putting something else on. I imagine you were praying you wouldn't run into anyone you knew! On the home stretch. Sorry to see it going to fast. Wish it was 30 days of foundation!!

Taylor your experience with this serum foundation reminds me exactly of your experience with the Burt’s Bees glow foundation. Ironically, I picked the BB foundation up yesterday, BEFORE I knew about the tragedies that befell our beauty community when influencers were struggling like shit to make the oil based foundation work for their skin. The first time I tried it out, I applied it over a Covergirl pore Minimizing primer. I pumped it out, painted it on my face, started to blend and was MORTIFIED by what happened next. It’s like it vanished into air. No sponge or brush was gonna get the foundation to apply seamlessly to my face. And water? The second a tear or snot ran it dissolved the formula. I had never seen or experienced anything like this in my life. But I was determined to find a way. And find a way I did. And the results were absolutely fucking stunning. I can declare confidently that if you have textured, dryish, normal, and even slightly oily skin, you will love the way your skin looks. I have a sneaking suspicion that you might be able to make the Ulta serum foundation work for you if you attempt this experiment at your own risk 😂😂. If it does work, make sure to let me know!! Step one: cleanse your face Step 2: moisturize the living shit out of your undereyes. Step 3: skip serum and moisturizer Step 4: apply an oil primer like Joah Glow Activator or Elf hydrating primer and really work it into your skin. Be generous. And I mean generous. (Avoid the undereye) Step 5: apply a WATERPROOF concealer (or foundation) to the lids, undereyes, upper lip, around your nostrils. Let it set. Step 6. shake the foundation really well and get ready for the first layer. You’re going to put down your sponge and brush and you’re going to use your fingers. Do not, I repeat do not dampen your sponge. You know what they say about oil and water 😶 Step 7. with your fingertips, blend the foundation all over your face as if is were a moisturizer. (Only four small drops) nice small circular motions and really work the products into your pores. DO NOT APPLY the serum foundation anywhere near the eyes or the nostrils and upper lip. Tears and snot will destroy your base. Step 8. Wait three to four minutes for the first layer to calm her tits. Oil based foundations NEVER set like water based ones do. So get this out of your mind. Step 9: dispense a few more drops onto the. Back of your hand and add a drop of the oil based primer to it. This is where the magic happens. Using your fingers and starting at the center, blend and swirl the products in the same manner. It’s so silky smooth and it moves where you want it to which is what makes it so fun. Again, no eye or nose action. This is where you must blend carefully and pick shades that are similar in tone. Once you get your desired coverage, look into a magnified mirror to see if there are any areas that need to be smoothed out. Grab a loose Translucent powder and lightly and GENTLY press the powder everywhere with a soft fluffy brush to help the foundation set down a bit. You don’t want to lose the glow. That’s what makes oil foundations so beautiful. Apply your bronzer and blush. Again, don’t go in buffing and tugging. Oil based foundations have larger molecules and they don’t absorb as quickly as water does. Powders sit BEAUTIFULLY over the BB foundation and I hope they work on the Ulta serum one too 😍 Skip the setting mist. (Noooo Water!!)If things look too powdery (which they shouldn’t) pump out a drop of oil primer or serum and gently press it into your skin. Please do not wear oil based foundations in the rain, in the ocean, at births, funerals, or breakups. Do not wear while watching the Bachelor or This is Us. Aside from that, I have a feeling that Taylor and all of you beautiful humans will be able to make it work!! I got this free... and at first yes it didn't work great. But I found out that if I exfoliate and moisturize and use silicone primer on certain spots it works not so much coverage but with oily skin around my T-Zone and it worked pretty well.

I really love your videos but just a suggestion for something that would be really helpful for me: Every foundation can be classified by finish, price, longevity, coverage etc. and you always do such a good job of mentioning those when describing a foundation. As someone with rosacea though, I have to wear oil-free foundations due the moisture barrier in my skin. It might be really helpful for me and maybe others to also describe each new foundation as oil-free or not, and as silicone based or water based because that info also helps to pick out a primer. Everytime you mention a foundation you like, I go through the ingredients to find if it's oil free, which I definitely don't mind doing and I'm not even sure if I'm the only one that cares about that info?? It's frustrating that sephora and ulta have search categories for foundation but don't have oil free or not as a search filter! Maybe one day! Anyways, I love the videos and love the work that you're doing!! You are such a treasure!

I got this. I was so excited! I put it on my face and wanted to cry. It looked so awful, it caked up, broke up within 3 hours, never looked dewy and settled into lines i didn’t even know i had. I’m only 5 mins into the video so far but the concealer to this foundation is AMAZING!! Super light coverage which I’m into & super hydrating which I desperately need because I have eczema all around my eyes so I normally can’t even wear concealer but that one I can use and it still looks great

I started following Taylor because she wears the same shade of foundation as I do so I can just get what she gets. But more and more she goes for shades either the wrong undertone or too dark - both leaving a line on her neck from where the foundation starts and her skin begins. I have to start re-thinking whether I continue following this channel

Haven’t found many “Ulta brand specific” products that are worth more than a buck. iT brushes for them, eye primer (meh)...the rest no bueno for my mature combo/dry skin. Thank you for all you’re doing and happy to help a good cause. Hugs from H-town🤗

I just tried this foundation a few days ago, and I got the same exact results! It's so dry, the life got sucked out of my face and any concealer looked so bad on top of it. I had to take it off immediately and I'm never using it again.
