Very proud of you two for being incredibly brave. So many people, adults, feel similarly and are too afraid to voice their sentiments in fear of judgement and isolation from the majority. I pray that my generation, yours, will be brave enough to speak the truth and stand up against preconceived notions and prejudice that is sadly entrenched in today's society.

Sort of feels like my faith in humanity replenished from this vid had been splurged straight out of my chest, from the biased and accusing comments below, pointing fingers at their own brothers and sisters. People, this is made to cancel out the stereotypical accusations, and its really not fair. Y'all, honestly just don't even, like can you not.

One of the beautiful things about spoken word is that the audience isn't supposed to be quiet. We love it when they respond and tell us how they feel :)

I am a jewish israeli girl. I trurly believe that we are all human beings. it doesnt matter if u believe in jesus and i believe in something else. it doesnt matter if you dont eat cosher and i do. it doesnt matter if you celebrate christmas and i celebrate passover. at the end of the day we are all living on the same land and we are all the same, but believe in different things. I hate no one but the ones who hate me. I am proud of who i am and i hate the fact that people hate me for my religion

Nahh, it's not disrespectful. We actually ask the audience to respond like that. it's also a judged event, so the audience's job is to sway the judges. when such a big response comes that we have to pause the piece, it's feels great to know that people enjoy what we're saying THAT much. I understand what you're saying though. They;re not being unruly, they're being supportive.
