A lot of these challenges didn’t really “originate” on tik tok, when I was younger and in an art class in elementary school we used the painting blobs and then drawing with that and my friends and I always drew on the half of the paper and gave the other half to the other friend lol

Have you had a try at it? Because it's a fun exercise. I was in a group who did it, people of all technical levels working on different medias and just taking the same abstract form as a base. It was especially fun to compare how many different things people seen in the same image, and how creative the result were. It's actually good to build confidence, since you're too busy following the shape to care nor fear about mistakes, so people tends to iterate and experiment things they would never otherwise.
