I am from Tijuana, but raised in SD. It annoys me a bit that people were trying to scare you into not going to TJ. It's like any city in the world - you can meet friendly people & not so friendly people. Cartels aren't against tourists, they are against each other for power and control. Anyway, pretty cool that you guys went to TJ. At least you explored some part of Mexico. You didn't get/include a shot of the donkeys though! Haha that's a tourist-must for TJ! Oh well, next time! =]

I'm so glad you guys actually went. I hate how TJ has a bad reputation. It is full of history, culture and fun, beautiful places. There's no place like TJ. You got the beaches, the tacos, the beer, the weather.

Well I'm from Mexico and this video started a little bit racist because in America they just hear the bad things about my country and that's not fair because that creates a bad idea of here. They came here and they are still alive. Here we don't have like hundred of deads per day like everybody thinks. I live in a safe place, I don't consume drugs, I had never hear of anyone close to me to got shot or anything like that. America has a wrong idea of Mexico

Tijuana is okay and you can get a nice experience but its nothing like actually going into the heart of mexico. I have had the privileged of going to many Mexican states and each is beautiful in their own way. I feel very proud of my heritage and all the culture that Mexico holds such as all the type of dances and its history with the Aztecs. I hope you can have an opportunity where you can get the full experience ! As for hearing about how bad things are, as my mother always sad you should only be worried if you're in those things.

Seriously it annoys me when people in the USA talk such things about Mexico, If you go to Tijuana is obviously a bit more insecure than Mexico City or Guadalajara, but tourist have nothing ti worry about, If you´re not involved in drugs nothing bad will happen

México has many problems (But you also were in one the most dangerous parts) You need to arrive on plane a visit a more "tourist-friendly" city. We have beautiful beaches and also way interesting colonial art and buildings and of course the pre spanish conquest ruins like Teotihuacan or Chichen Itza

Northern Mexico girls, apart from being beautiful, are a little conservative and respectful. She thought about it (little conservative), her mom/aunt/friendsmom was there so she refused(respectful). I hate the way other people see my country. Mexico isn't only drug cartels and murders or shootings. I live in Mexico City and I know nobody that has ever been shot or killed or know someone that knows someone who has been shot or murdered. We're like every other country in the world.

As a Canadian living down here it is mainly the Gringos who are not welcoming - thanks for the video showing that yes Mexico is WONDERFUL. I really appreciate the fact that you went down there and showed people that the border and my country is not as dangerous as people think!
