If you create designs in your KZbin videos then yes, you're a graphic designer. You don't just become one after working with clients.

I think my channel is a bit different than the others here that are tutorials/resources for designers - my videos are more for a general audience about design as a topic. But interesting to be included - good luck with your channel!

"You can't take this too seriously. It's [just] graphic design" may be the reason graphic design sucks. Stop talking about trends, start taking responsibility. Design is innovative engineering. If you "design" the second Instagram or an online casino aimed at underprivileged people, aesthetics don't matter for the real worth of that "design". If you make something valuable and inventive, it's okay to have raw aesthetics that reflect the needs of an experimentation stage. I thought that in graphic design the key word is "design". Apparently, not for some people. For me, Elliotisacoolguy is a cool communication designer. Brandon is an interesting experimentalist. We don't know much about the products from Abi's portfolio to evaluate them. By that logic, with the focus you have, Paul Rand would suck because he didn't even have an Instagram account with some trendy layout, what a stupid long-forgotten man. Bruh...

Hey man we do believe it’s important (of course, we dedicate our livelihoods to it) but we just also believe that the world keeps turning if you miss a design deadline. Our response is more addressing those who have an inflated sense of purpose, or are emotionally invested to the point of getting defensive or upset over critique of work. As for the ig we would have loved to judge people based on design it’s just that 80% of the designers on KZbin had no work available to look at. We do not think ig grids are any serious indicator of any expertise. This video is just entertainment :) That being said we think Paul Rand is mid!
