First of all, thanks for these videos because they're so inspiring and full of new stuff to learn. One thing I wanted to ask is: how do you manage to be sure that the palette you have created is going to look exactly the same when printed? Bright colours such these are the ones that look most different in CMYK. Do you use Pantones and so your client has to use them (which is more expensive) when they get it printed? Or is there any other method?

Glad to hear it was helpful 😊 So the short answer is they won't, if the client requests packaging I will convert colours to CMYK for the packaging. (I let the client know this process so they are fully aware)

So I follow a script, to ensure I'm asking the right questions, and yes the meeting is recorded, so then I can go through it after and note down all the important info!

8:26 - I’m just curious, when laying out all the typography out on a page spread. Isn’t it hard to narrow down on a final concept when you have all that visual noise from all the other variants surrounding it. When the type has enough room to breathe they may look different and it might even change your perspective on it? What do you think.

So glad to hear :) I'm currently writing a video all on the discovery call! Discovery is what you have before starting the project, it's to gather info about the cleint and their business so you can put a proposal together, strategy call happens once they are onboarded and in this call you go over their competitors, the brands foundations and more (will make video on it).

I think if you let them understand the amount of work you can do to help their vision it’ll be easier to talk money. I used to be so insecure to even ask if I can receive the payment, but as I grow, I realized that this is not something *everybody* can do thus justifies your worth.
