Hi Sean, I have 2 kids. My daughter is 3 and my son is 6 and they watch you tube more than t.v. I've noticed that they will watch the same vieo over and over. My daughter can navigate youtube but not a t.v. remote. Oftentimes they find the toys they want on youtube. My weekly average on youtube is close to 100 hours. Some of which is me also. But they do influence my purchase based on what they see. I've been considering starting a channel for them because they aspire to be an influencer and I want them to learn young. I've been trying to find my niche for 2 years and have had the fear that you've talked about in some videos. But this will be the year that I build my brand and the year I help my kids to build theirs. Much of my knowledge is coming from your channels and I appreciate the way you break everything down.

We are at one subscriber, so total newbies, but I have a burning question that I haven’t seen addressed as yet. Sean, how do you think smart tvs have and will influence the YT world? With more and more viewers in that format, with the absence of interactive like buttons and such I am curious what your thoughts are on this issue. Maybe I just do not know my smart tv remote well enough to interact with You Tube. Just sign me technically challenged but a quick study and TYIA for any advice.

Hey there! I had a question maybe I could get answered. My main niche is inspirational. I make vlogs and cinematic edits on how to make this life we live the best it can possibly be while staying positive. I aim mainly towards from middle schoolers to college students. However, I have another hobby and skill which is tumbling and flipping. So my idea was to have “Saturday’s vlogs” which will obviously show my life and how i live a positive lifestyle while also having fun! Also, “Tuesday’s Tips” which will give inspirational tips on how to get through school and live a positive life. I would also take questions from viewers. Lastly I would have “Friday’s Flips” which I would teach a new flip every Friday. So my question is, are these different series a bad idea, or should i attempt to make videos only pertaining to inspiration and having a fun positive life?

As a video stock shooter , I need a model release for everyboy that appears in my clips and property releases because they are going to be used for commercial use. In youtube I am lost. I have a small channel. I prefer to be in my small office away from peoples and children faces. I see many youtubers that shoot exterior city and street scenes where you can clearly see other people faces. They are making money so it es clearly for comercial use. If I go to a public place, I think I would go with a lens that has a very short Depth of Field so that only my image is in focus and everybody else plus building facades are out of focus. How does KZbin deal with privacy rights and image rights?

If Alphabet / Google want to make changes (mostly to make even more money themselves), they don't care what the consequences are for the creators or viewers. With the recommendations you think are so great, they create a bubble for the viewers. They stay in this bubble without ever exploring something new. This is all common knowledge about KZbin / Google that can be found on the internet.
