I'm unfamiliar with the Ukraine but i'm glad you are there to shine a light on it. There are many things about your geopolitical stance I don't agree with but I do feel strongly Ukraine deserves its independence. I think we, as Taiwanese Americans, know where we stand on this issue.

Johnny, I tried to do what you are setting up now in your house. It will not work in a blackout. During a blackout, the internet hub station for your section of the city will have no power and can not send and receive signals from the blackout area until the hub can gets power back. A hub is like a sub station for all the cable boxes from your section of the city. If you want your set up to work in a blackout, you will need to have a starlink dish internet service system and provide battery power to your starlink satelite internet service system as well. It would also be handy to have a couple of those camping kerosine lamps, because they are reliable, safe, and lasts all night long if needed.

Good idea to get the UPS Johnny. Consider a small generator and stick it on the balcony. If you're getting outages like that, a cheap ~$100 genny could make things alot easier during those outages. Run a lil fuel stabilizer in it and it'll never not start up right away. *make sure to be aware of fumes & keep the exhaust outside and door/window closed near it* Also out of curiosity, does your apt have a natural gas utility?

Honda 10i run is an excellent power provider continues power 700W and peak 1000W. Low fuel consumption and will run 6-8 hours with 2-2.5 litre of bensin. Inverter, so safe directly to computers and mobile phone. And quiet.

Hi Johnny, with Ukraine's infrastructure (both Power and Thermal) significantly damaged I think it is prudent to invest in backup power as well as heat sources. Maybe it is a good idea to ask all the neighbors in the building to pitch in and set up a few locations in the building as warm rooms heated by the good old wood burning stoves, the kinds that you can put a pot or kettle on top it to also to make some tea while it is also heating up the room and accumulate a good supply of fire wood for 30 days of continuous burning. While it is the summer and the roads are clear and postal service is making on time deliveries it is a good time to buy the stoves and make the modifications in the rooms (cutting a hole for the flu in the balconies and...). I have a feeling that the next two winters will be worse than the last two since Putin seems to be in a mad rush to rebuild his military. Also the miniature ferry LED lights use very little power and may be a good source of light for those long winter nights, order them now. I think this type of things make great gifts for birthdays and other occasions.

Hello Johnny, I have pretty same Ups for my PC, and unfortunately it won’t be work to much when electricity down. I have an ecoflow, near my pc, so with such UPS I have just like five minutes so I can unplug it from net and plug into the ecoflow, so I can continue to work. I think TV will works longer, but with PS while gaming I don’t think so.

For warmth in winter make a sand bucket heater you can see to make simple on you tube sand heaters, and use the power source you bought to heat the copper inserts inside the sand bucket. Great review! keep it up! Dr. RBall MD

22:55 a UPS is not at all a suitable device for cases of power outages for 4-7 hours. It won’t work for even an hour, and his squeaks will drive you crazy. Of course, the solution is only charging stations with a capacity of 500 Wh and above. I think you wasted your money ((

I never said it'll work for 4-7 hours. The beeps on this unit stop after 1 minute. There's no electric now, it's been almost an hour and i'm running my monitor off of this $37 UPS in silence. How is that a waste of money?

I live in Florida USA and during storms the power goes out. I have a 1000 watt solar battery backup with two 100 watt solar panels. Works great. Hotplate, radio and a kettle and I'm set...All total the power setup was about $1000 USD. You can get the little 500 watt rigs for under $500 around here...

What makes you say those big powerbanks are overpriced, lithium batteries arent cheap, everyone knows this lol. Just because it's expensive doesnt make it overpriced. You cant compare a UPS to an actual powerbank, UPS is only ment to be used to safely shut down your deviced during a power failure, it's not actually ment to power your devices over a longer time lol. It does not have a big battery inside. It's a completely different product and not ment to be used the way you intent.

hey, that fiber internet should have Fiber to ethernet translater (GPON), that needs power as well, it takes 12v, and for constant internet just plug the power bank into the wall, and internet into the powerbank, and for UPS, get a 500w or even more powerfull one, get a lead acid battery (70-80Ah) and you will have juice for 2Hrs at 500W power draw
