Hey thanks for breaking down OBS and the KZbin streaming. I’ve been streaming for a while and didn’t know some information you shared. Super good video. Thanks.

Do you have any other videos on this issue? Mine still lags. When I change the streaming key, it won’t connect live to KZbin
@TheSpeakEasyLounge3 жыл бұрын
My issues are only during Live Streaming. I do Music reaction videos. I've made adjustments, and it lags/buffers & I freeze during lives. I have an (ALL-IN-ONE) pci Monitor only & apparently this means (someone helped me check in settings and it did NOT show ANY GPU info) that I don't have a graphics card at all. Was told I needed to get a new PC. Anyway, I turned off "Record while Streaming" in main settings, and also turned off "Record Stream" on main screen during lives, and that helped some. if you have any suggestions that would be great. I really hate cancelling my lives until I can buy a new expensive Gaming PC as suggested. Do you know of any setting changes I can make? It comes and goes, giving me the "yellow YT notice" that says "I have low internet so videos may lag" or something like that, then it goes away after a little while and I have an excelled connection, then comes back later. I am hoping theres something I can do, to avoid having to buy a PC. MY SPEED TEST was at like 57%. I just checked my other PC ( Garage PC Not used for streaming/recording) and I see in task manager that I have very little GPU-is about 30% utilization,GPU Memory is at .02 of 2.1gbts. Dedicated GPU is .01/128. PC is Intel Core i3 4170T CPU at 3.20 GHz. I am guessing that is WAY too low for what Im trying to do. Looking for a work around. (2nd PC-that Im sharing the info on is about the same as the one Im trying to use) any ideas would be greatly appreicated! Thanks.

Hello, Where do I start. There are multiple layers for improving your live stream performance. A very much great deal relies on your Internet Connection speed from YOUR internet service provider aka the DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD speed. I would first check what type of speed is your servicer providing. Run a check to see if your getting at least 200-300 MBPS by running a test on "Speedtest.net". If the speed is low, I would contact my ISP and ask how much to increase the speed so it can support streaming live on KZbin. Also be sure that your workstation is only using a hard wired connection and not wireless. Hard wired connection will always be quicker then a wireless connection for live streaming. My next recommendation is geared towards the computer hardware. Quality Live Stream videos to KZbin requires a lot of video rendering which it's highly recommended to get a video graphics card at least 6-8GB to encode the videos in OBS. You will stress out your computer hardware resources without one which will also result in live stream lag. A "All In One" computer will not have a dedicated video graphics card nor can you install one in it. You will need to purchase desktop computer. Let's say the workstation in your garage is a desktop computer, I would upgrade the power supply to 600-750 WATTs and purchase a 8GB video card. Now if money is tight, then I would look for a 600 Watt power supply and 4GB video card. Please be sure it's a dedicated video card that requires power from a power supply. They do they video cards which receive power from the motherboard but their performance is cheap. If you can upgrade the garage computer, I would make that become the "video streaming PC" and then use the "All In One" computer as the "Viewing Music Videos" PC. This is similar to my setup, I have 2 PC's, 1 gaming PC to play the games and 1 video rig PC which streams the vides to KZbin. This is how you balance the computer hardware resources. BTW: I reviewed your KZbin page and you're doing great and making the best of what you have which is the PERFECT way to do it. I started off with old computer hardware which was under spec and I built up over time. So upgrade your internet speed and computer hardware as time comes. Thanks

@AWordFromMrJones3 жыл бұрын
Hopefully this video has helped you. It's always best to live stream based on your connection speed and computer hardware. The key is to fine tune your target bit rate and output resolution settings. Try to lower the settings, start a private live stream and use another device or cell phone to watch the live stream, make changes to the target bit rate and give it a few minutes to see the change. Also try connecting the streaming computer to the ISP router and then try it from your secondary router if you have one.

i have an upload speed of 1-5mps is this enough to stream?
@AWordFromMrJones3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Fallen that's a pretty low connection speed to live stream a game. Viewers will experience significant latency/lag when watching the live stream. However, I would say still give it a shot however to do a "private youtube live stream" and use your phone or another computer device to check the video for latency. Check with your ISP and ask them how much would it cost for a internet connection of 300 MBPS.

great video and I wasn't surprised you were having this issue with Warzone.... It only ever happens to me while streaming WZ! I stream BF5, Halo Insider all within the last month or 2 and I NEVER had these issues when streaming this game.... It ONLY happens when streaming WZ

AlsoI don't have the greatest internet but I know my streams can manage it. I have a 320 Down with roughly 35, 36 Up and I never get these issues unless I stream Warzone. Idk why that is the case I know it should do with the internet and not the game but i just find it very odd that any other game I stream, Ill never have these issues and I can even stream in 1440p/ vp09 settings but when it comes to WZ, I have to bump my bitrate down and disable preview in OBS which helps lower CPU usage
@AWordFromMrJones3 жыл бұрын
@@imimix3692 Yeah Call of Duty Warzone is a different beast. I believe their servers/networks are spec'd out less compared to COD Modern Ware/Black Ops servers. They seem to be a bit more smoother when streaming.
