Apple charges a 30% fee for any in app purchase. I would recommend cancel you subscription and pay directly on the google website , you’ll save 30% a month

When I watch a monetized video, the creator still gets paid and I don't have to watch ads. If I used ad-blocker nobody gets paid. I pay for other services like Netflix etc. so this is no different. I also use KZbin Music so it's worth it for me now.

The ad free experience is charming... Got the premium today... And as someone who uses copious amounts of youtube daily ... For reasons varying from entertainment to education... The absence of the 30 sec clips at the beginning feels like magic... And ofcourse the awesome sound quality you get via youtube music... There are a LOT of tracks from my fav artists which were never released officially... A lot of tracks which are not available on Spotify in my area... Fan made playlists,etc... It's all there on yt music, and u get the much needed background play feature too...!

Should you get youtube premium? So lets say you watch half an hour of youtube a day. Thats about 5-6 videos with either one or two 10-15 second ads making an average of 1 min 43 second of ads a day. Over a 30 day period thats 52 minutes and 25 seconds of ads. Over a year period thats 10 and a half hours!! If you sleep 8 hours a day and work/go to school 8 hours a day and spend 3 hours getting ready for work/school, going to the bathroom and eating that means only 5 hours a day you have free time to do optional things. So each year youre wasting 2 full days of your life watching ads. You can avoid all that for the same cost as buying a $1 snack every other day. And lets be honest, we watch alot more than half an hour of youtube a day!

There's literally an app that you can download that behaves just like youtube. It has more features, yes... MORE features, less bugs and NO ADS. You can log into it with your youtube account and Bob's your uncpe. All your subs and notifications, AND you can minimize it and have youtube playing in thr background while you do other stuff on your phone. Come on guys... its a no brainer guys... These KZbinrs must come together, stop being so greedy, and make a complaint to youtube and tell them to stop putting additional adds on their videos. KZbin was fine without youtube premium. Pewdie Pie did not need KZbin Premium to be successful. YTP is just plain greed now guys. Shame on youtubers who promote this.

Do you know how Premium membership payment is shared between creators? For example if I pay for premium and watch one video by one creator in one month. So what happens to my payment? KZbin obviously takes their share. They are a business and that is fine. But does all of the rest of my payment go to that one creator that I watched OR does KZbin Premium have the same bad system that Spotify has. Soptify gathers all the money in one big pile and then shares it between copyright holders depending on the total streams/ listens/ views they get. So if I would just listen one song by one artist in one month whit Premium the artist I listened would still just get something like ~0,02$ or was it 0,002$. Who gets rest of my premium fee? I would love to pay my subscription fee to the artists that I listen to but right now that does not happen. I cant find this info anywhere from KZbin.

At least this much info is readily available on KZbin Help page - "Currently, new revenue from KZbin Premium membership fees is distributed to video creators based on how much members watch your content. As with our advertising business, most of the revenue will go to creators." Based on this it's clear that they distribute over 50% (probably 60%) of the Premium fees to creators. What is unclear is how exactly do they distribute that 60% between creators and is that method fair for creators and consumers alike.

Not really, its not that type of program. Thats like for games and stuff. Its up to the individual if they want it or not. I only brought it for the dumb ads on my phone. So incredibly worth it. $12 a month. Some people spend way more than that per month on food, so no reason there.
