One morning I woke up and went to check my KZbin Studio app to find that it would not load. I then checked my email and found the KZbin had deleted my channel siting the policy for spam, scams or commercially deceptive content. I tried an appeal, but I was denied. KZbin said that they reviewed my channel but decided to keep my account suspended. I then tried to appeal again but was immediately denied and told that I would have to wait 2 weeks before appealing again. I tried the google help forums, but I received no response except for from a bot telling me the same thing. After this I found my way into the creator studio (maybe from another account?) and discovered I could chat with support. I tried this, but ultimately they were not able to help me. Finally I took my complaint to Twitter (at)TeamKZbin and received a response later that day. Learn how I got my channel back so you can have an idea what will help you get your youtube channel back.

Scammers are spamming this video! Do not listen to people sending you to specific users elsewhere. Tweet @teamyoutube and only them. Never send anybody money to help! Appeal and if that doesn't work go to Twitter. Be respectful in your communications and patient with the process, I've seen it take a day and a month. I know it's frustrating, but remember you get more bees with honey!

I get the same warning every other day for too many post. IF you make a lot of post you will get spam warning from the algorithm none of my post are the same nor do i sell anything. I'm thinking if you post a lot the system sees you as spamming. The idea for comments they will never tell you what you did wrong you have to guess. The only way to get that fix is lawsuit.

So in your case the situation was as follows: - they intentionally wrongly accused you of violating the rules - you appealed, they insisted you are a violator - you knocked all the doors, - they double-checked and said: OMG, you are not a violator, even though we called you one several times in a row! OMG OMG. - for this they compensated you with... simply returning the channel online. E.g. the way it was. - so they lost nothing, you lost nerve cells, got called a bad person, and so on. Its just some seriously insane stuff. I got similar thing today, but with commenting. I tried to comment something, and youtube pops up the window saying I am 'paused' for 1 day for the same violation as yours. I got to chat with those people who imitate work at youtube. They imitated work during chatting, and simply copy-pasted replies that had no soul or brain activity in them. I was asking for a simple thing: I am accused of making something wrong. Please show me the evidence: what I did wrong, so that I could either appeal or agree "yeah, i did wrong, wont do so anytime soon". I was connected to some 'supervisor'. He imitated work just like his lower-level employees. Took '24 hours to investigate' and in 45 minutes emailed a soulless and zero-brain-work response of the same kind that "we are not perfect, so just wait out 24 hours of this pause and please comment again". So I DO NOT know what and how i did violate. And still do not know. MEANWHILE (the fun part) I watch various videos about the current day war conflicts, and see the same accounts posting calls to genocide, mass murders etc all the time. I report these accounts and guess what? :)) They are still active. They are never 'paused', never blocked or banned. They are allowed to post things like calling for acts of terror, genocide etc. So... KZbin seems to officially support those who call for genocide, but blocks anyone else just because. No explanation :) If you even decide to organize a class-action lawsuit - count me in.

So it’s hard to know how to avoid that happening again but at least it’s back and all going ok so far! So grateful for this video!

Thanks for posting this. My daughter's channel where she posts cat videos got a similar shut down notice today and she's very upset about it. We filed an appeal so we have to wait to hear back but if they don't reinstate it we'll be going to Twitter!

I just sent in support requests and they helped me just fine. I never spammed, scammed or did anything at all on that list. I was stressed to the max and physically ill, crying etc. They actually helped me within the night. It sucked but I give them props. Sounds like you weren’t so fortunate. My channel had an entire lifetime worth of music I had collected since I was 7 years old. Playlists I spent so much time making, it was the channel for my music, had personal stuff I could never replace if lost. It’s sad to see this stuff happening still but I do love KZbin I hope they are better now. They seemed good to me.

This is happening to me every month. I am basically appealing for my channel every 6th or 7th of the month. My Google account was hacked last year and after that I have been needing to do this over and over again. My videos have been online for nearly 2 years and nothing new has been uploaded in a year. I got my channel recovered after appealing direct through the link and through twitter as well. It was pretty fast [ same day] I have another channel and that one has been closed down now 😒I have appealed for that one too. Both channels are new and the only thing I think it might be is because I put affiliate links on the uploads straight away. Maybe you need to build up subscribers and views first? Maybe youtube don't like new youtubers doing this? Maybe they're automated bots that just take random channels and mess them up? Bloody crazy it is.

Before I created it, I watched a few videos of creators on here giving tips and advice on what to do. They were creators well established with a lot of followers so I thought what they advised would be good. It wasn't the case, I got my channel terminated because of THEIR tips! There are so many creators that tell absolute lies and BS. Thinking about it, they're only on here themselves to get more followers / views to earn money, so they'll say anything won't they. I've still got the first channel but I know that if I post a video it won't be long before that one gets terminated. I do Tiktok now and I'm doing really well. Monetized as well. All this just happened to me. I've had a non-monitized channel for years with probably a hundred videos posted. It's me teaching math classes, videos of my cats and a few assorted other benign things. I appealed and was rejected in about an hour. I've posted to twitter and I'm crossing my fingers now. One difference is that I was not able to chat. My brother chatted for me but they wouldn't help because he wasn't logged into my account. Of course if he was, he wouldn't be able to chat. This happened to me today. I haven't even posted on my personal channel in 3 months. It's so crazy. They have canceled our network channel that has 11k subs 2x in the past 3 months for no good reason at all. One of the reasons was someone reported us for spam which was completely bogus. Both times, we appealed and it was reinstated 5 minute later.

My boyfriend has been going through a lot this last year. He started getting into gaming and really enjoying it to the point he created his own KZbin channel. Despite not growing fast or anything it has made him so happy and gaining support made him light up. He finally got to 87 subscribers and was getting an average of 200 views per video which may not seem like much but it was so much to him. This afternoon he got an email that his KZbin account was deleted for spam or something ridiculous like that and he was devastated. He submitted the appeal and thankfully KZbin gave him back his channel but deleted his most recent videos that were doing great? And even deleted ones he had scheduled or just had private?? Does anyone know what we can do? He’s just a small channel trying to promote gaming while having fun and I have no idea why KZbin has to ruin his day and all his hard work.

Thank You! I got canceled for no reason with no warnings. And all I had/have is one 10 second video! I thought that contesting it would just get me reinstated, but when it didn't I thought I must've been hacked or something. Your advice helped me muster up the courage to contact them on Twitter, which I am unfamiliar with using. Extra thank you for showing your post. I just copied it and sent it last night and minutes later I was reinstated. It really sucked because I let them get the best of me by waiting 3 months and thinking that I did something wrong.

I'm going through the exact same thing, except it's been a full week with no decision. I've been going around in circles with the Twitter team and creative support with no answers. Thanks for the video and glad you got it back. I got my channel terminated just yesterday. I had only 4 shorts and 3 subs, it was a new account which had gotten over 1000 views in one week. I had posted a video which actually did not get categorised as a short, so I made it private and uploaded another with same details but slightly lesser length which got correctly recognised as a short. I meant to delete the private video, but now I have gotten terminated for spam!!. I have appealed, but it just directs me to speak to Google Workspace support / reseller who again ask me to appeal with the same redirection. It really is a mess, but reading the other comments, am glad this happened early in the journey before I invested a lot more effort.

Got this email once my channel was removed. I was in a middle in watching a video then it cut out. I thought it was a reception issue. Then when I went into my channel it didn’t work. It said the same thing and I was furious. I went into the KZbin page and submitted my appeal and still haven’t gotten a response. It said between 24 to 48 hrs to hear of an answer from the appeal. Yeah thanks I am I'm a senior citizen trying to learn technology and I just set up two channels. First one looks good so far fingers crossed. But the second one is only a week old if that have one video of a cat one video of flowers on my balcony, and yes I got that same stupid message. Thanks for this video. This exact same situation happened to me. My KZbin channel has been active for ten years or more and Monday 4-29-2024 it was terminated for the same violations of "spam, deceptive practices and scams policy" even though I am not monetized, I do not sell anything. I mostly post videos I made with my friend reviewing movies and wine. I can't imagine what I could have done, in fact my last new post was back on March 27th. My appeal was rejected, I have now tried you suggestion of posting to TeamKZbin on Twitter/X. Fingers crossed I get it back.

How frustrating. This is starting to happen with comments also if you type to close together it greats a unwanted link or if you talk about on specific thing not they think thats unrelated to topic its advertising and creating spam some of us now are getting comments that come up telling us we could get our you tube privileges taken away . Man, thanks for this video... i literally just uploaded my first 3 videos EVER... They were just dumb arduino project (electronic eyes that follow the movements of a gyroscope module)... and within 2 days i get my entire account suspended :S an account i have had for 15 years now with decades of favorited music and videos, channel subscriptions etc... same vague mail... same vague responses. It literally just happened to me on my other channel. I was setting up my new web cam livestream and went live 5 or 6 times in 5 minutes and deleted all the stream videos because they were choppy. Anyways finally get everything setup properly and bam here's an e mail and screen saying my channel has been deleted for scam, wtf, but that's how it happened. & that's probably why a lot of channels with a lot of content don't livestream on there main channel instead use pre recorded edited videos because the spam robot will delete your channel without warning.

They won't tell him what he did when I know for a fact. All he does is post fortnite shorts, and the kid is effing banned for life. I've got no videos and they just gave me the warning about comments. I'm guessing it was a link I left in one, they don't like links in comments, even to wikipedia or youtube videos. Sure wish they'd just pop up a warning or tell me what it was, then I'd just not do it, instead of having to guess. I've never tried to sell anything anywhere on the internet.

Same thing happened to me, I just did an appeal and I dont even have any videos on KZbin 🙃🙃😂😂 - I use it only for browsing - got my channel back in like 10 minutes. So it seems they make too many mistakes. BTW, I also post on twitter as he said (I logged into twitter first time!). I use KZbin mostly for watching videos for entertainment and educational purposes (news, recipes, travel blogs, new courses and learning) and nothing more.

Do this immediately and also click on Appeal and it opens a page and click on Next button in the bottom and there will be a small box and mention reasons why you think it's a mistake.

I had 2 channels terminated about a couple months ago for the same reason. I have not gotten any strikes or anything on either of them. 1 of the channels got terminated on April 20th, 2023 and the other on June 25th, 2023 both for the same reason. At this point, I am like "this is ridiculus." because they were both development channels (which are channels that posts trailers, sneak peaks, tutorials, and dev gameplay for their own games/discord bots/other stuff they make) and there are thousands of these types of channels on the platform so why would they target just me? so a few days ago, I submitted an appeal for the channel that was terminated on June 25th, 2023 because there is no reason my channels should be terminated since my channels were not any different from those development channels on the platform. About 6 hours, I got 2 emails back from KZbin saying not only did I get the channel that I appealed for back, I also got the first channel back that was terminated back in April (even though I did not appeal for that one or tweeted KZbin about it).

Yo dude, great video. Just now I got a notice from KZbin saying one of my comments has been removed because it violates the spam scam and commercially deceptive content. I have no idea what I posted. (I post a fair number of comments and have my own tiny none monetized channel) It would be nice if they told me which comment they deleted....I'm surprised I violated anything but would definitely think maybe I said something that wasn't acceptable. If so I'd apologize and make sure I didn't do it again. All very odd...like punishing some kid but not saying why? Anyway....I searched and found your video so maybe it's just a weird error

Had this happen this morning for my account that I've had active since 2011. Yes 12 years. Still waiting to *hopefully* get this worked out, I attempted to do the appeal request an explained detail why this makes no sense, as to why my channel *without a single warning prior* was terminated. Received an automated reply fairly quickly basically saying they denied the request. Did the whole Twitter thing, and actually got a reply from someone on the yt Twitter that doesn't seem to be an automated text bot. Saying that they will look into it. It's quite eerie that I was banned today on my main account for simply posting comments made by world leaders along with a download link for people to access them. What's even stranger is that my account on the website where the links were hosted was also deleted. It almost feels like the government is trying to cover up any evidence. I help several local church congregations use KZbin to stream their Sunday services to members who aren't able to attend in person. All the channels that I help support for those congregations were terminated today for that same vague "Spam, deceptive practices and scams." policy. The policy did state copyright violations, and I know they frequently get notices about Content ID claims because of the hymns they sing, but the notice on those always say "The Content ID claim on your video doesn't affect your channel, This is not a copyright strike." It further just says that it might effect the video if they try to monitize it, but this is for broadcasting Sunday services to home bound people, so they haven't been doing any video monitization... I just started the appeal process, guess we'll see how it goes. Great job KZbin.

This just happened to me. My channel has 0 videos and rarely comments gets terminated by same reason. Luckily I am able to get my channel back 5 min after appeal.

This just happen to the channel I upload stuff too and I am a small channel I filed an appeal and about 40 mins later and my account was restored but I still have to wait for some of my videos to come back

I just got hit with a 2nd spam deceptive practice strike, when I was streaming. I literally have NO CLUE what I did. I've never done anything to remotely spam, or deceive anyone. I reached out to them on twitter, and they said, they are not going to remove my strike because I did violate that Spam and Deceptive Practice guidelines, but they still NEVER told me what exactly I did. Because I know for a fucking fact I did NOTHING of the sort in my stream. NOTHING. Its fucking frustrating beyond anything.

Agreed. The system seems more automated than it should be. This is a different circumstance as yours was a strike and mine was shut right down (with no strikes) is there an appeal process on youtube for this? Is that what you have done? I would continue to appeal on a 2 week basis if you can.

They just did this to me!!, They deleted 2 of my channels for 'Spam or misleading content' on of the channels I haven't used in over a year. They have denied my appeal for my other channel though which is so annoying

I have contacted them on Twitter and I’ve waited for 3 days and they said now that it was suspended and I can’t get my account back. I don’t know what to do, I’m so upset. I was just started I had like 15 subs max, I don’t even have enough subs to influence anyone

Basically if large amounts of people get together and collectively report you, they just drop you without review. Despite whether or not there's any reality to the reports. People can get you terminated just because *they don't like you* , has nothing to do with rules being broken.

Keep in mind that KZbin is not a utility. It's a private company owned by another company. So called "adult" sites don't rely on KZbin nor other second nor third party venues. Like I told the people at forgotten weapons and associated websites it might be worth considering starting your own media website and avoid KZbin altogether.
