I think it was likely more than depression, as long term depression can eventually devolve into more bipolar-like symptoms and potentially psychosis. The issue is that if this was a period of psychosis then the behavior would not be serial. The serial nature of the behavior makes it textbook predatory, like this is genuinely what a predator's behavior is like and blows stuff like what CallMeCarson or even Dr. Disrespect (if that girl was 17 at the time like the rumor mill says) did way out of the water. Depending on what the action is it technically could be defensible by depression. If someone keeps “blowing you off” or frequently lashes out those could very well be them displaying the textbook symptoms of depression. Psychiatric illnesses do alter behavior just as much as they alter mood and thinking, the more severe the condition the more severe the alterations will be. That being said, unless someone is legitimately in a total state of psychosis it’s hard to “justify” what he did to his sister (even then psychosis doesn’t usually involve activities like that).
