Such a shame someone so awful gets so many oppertunities and chances. There are definitely people out there who don't deserve the fame they get and Creepshow is a perfect example. If anything, being a popular KZbinr just let her have a farther reach to hurt and bully others - but alas, that story seems to be something that will persist as long as KZbin and the internet does.
@flarestorm9417 Жыл бұрын
The "no filter, tell it how it is, boss attitude" can be appealing to listen to. Sometimes you just want to hear someone go off and say what needs to be said. However, sometimes it turns out someone is just a "rebel without a cause" as it were. They aren't "hardened and blunt" with their tone, they're actually just a jerk that said things you agreed with. It's kind of like those sigma male memes, except in real life and done unironically. Sure, someone being able to say whatever and bravely do stuff looks cool as a meme, but in practice they'd just come off as an arrogant jerk with a short fuse that makes your life a pain.

I actually clicked on her videos a few times as they were recommended to me (way before the cancellation) and I didn't really like her tone or attitude and just never got into her. That would explain why I couldn't stand CSA lol...

The mere fact that the Creepshow Art acronym is that, is very unfortunate 💀💀💀 Also, same! I watched her videos a long while before she got exposed, but I always disliked her for some reason and thought that her tone of voice was super annoying. All I needed to hear was that, in her own words, she was diagnosed as a narcissist ("by some hipster bitch.") Man, 'nuff said. Nothing good can ever come from giving a narcissist the power to destroy other people's reputations unanswered. **Okay, I'll add it up here, for the people who won't bother to read it below: If someone tells you they're a narcissist, believe them. I don't care if they make up a diagnosis, or tell you the pope told them so. If you can ask someone, "are you a narcissist?" and their answer is, "yes," (or, better yet, they make an entire KZbin video about it,) remove yourself from the situation as soon as possible, because at some point it will turn against you, whether you know it or not. Even if they say yes sarcastically, ask yourself just how much vitriol has managed to sneak itself in alongside that sarcasm, and make up your mind from there.

@tuesday3735 Жыл бұрын
@@blackcatfan3 yeah its a strange phenomenon. I mean clearly not all people with NPD are horrible awful people and if they are self aware and seeking help it's wrong to assume that. However the hallmarks of a narcissist would be lack of ability to admit mistakes and believing you're superior to others. That generally leads to some pretty heinous actions that harm others. Like with any mental health disorder it's not ok to villinize anyone based purely on diagnosis. That being said having a diagnosis isn't an excuse for shitty behavior.

"In the business, we call this foreshadowing" In all seriousness, that is such a "nervous laughter" kind of moment. While some level of self-deprecation is normal, when someone drops lines about how awful they are in a joking matter (especially in regards to something as serious as potential psychopathy), that is a red flag. The fact that she was officially diagnosed makes it even worse.

While I don’t entirely agree, (just because I always try to give some communities the benefit of the doubt) I do see your point. It’s kinda like vegans. I don’t believe every vegan is insane and obsessive, but I do wonder why the ones that get all the attention online are the crazy and obsessive ones. I think it’s because the internet thrives on a show. Like what they say, the world is a stage, and the stage is a world of entertainment (I hope you get that reference). Anyway, I hope I don’t come off as disrespectful. If you don’t agree, that’s perfectly fine. This is only my opinion of course.
@sq447211 ай бұрын
While I do understand your point of view, it pretty much comes off as generalization. Whatever community or fandom, whether for a video game, a show, an anime, sports, makeup, food, and even the most seemingly simple things, there will always be a bunch of bad apples, and they unfortunately will get more attention than the good ones (perhaps due to it being more intriguing, entertaining, and emotion provoking for people than the fact that there are better people out there) But the fact still stands that there are still good people in the community, they are just overlooked and forgotten because of the more intriguing bad apples in it. I mean honestly, I've noticed how on the news and on existing articles, people just tend to care more/give more reactions for the controversial stuff rather than the good wholesome deeds performed.
@TDdemeter11 ай бұрын

@@feministpicnicfallsapartaf3644 woah I never said anything that woman should not be held accountable for their actions,one thing I should’ve been clearer on when I said difficult topics is that I appreciate her honesty she has with us about her addiction and past actions but her ex boyfriend and creep show have no right in stalking and harassing her. I see her as a woman who is making an honest effort in changing her life and has been successful as she now has been clean, has a family, and job but still acknowledges her past while moving forward.
@nayussysuccer Жыл бұрын
@@feministpicnicfallsapartaf3644Cuz she was the victim. Yes, this started because she made a bitchy remark but did that ever justify everything else Anthony and Shannon did to her? The stalking, the years of harassment, sharing her compromising photos, making sure she's fired from her jobs to drive her to homelessness? Not even by a long shot. They could have just left it at that and moved on but apparently not. Emily even acknowledges that she wasn't that good of a person back then and she takes accountability for that but she tried her best to change and she should be allowed to.
