Yeah I agree, I’m new to KZbin and I’m trying to get to my first 100 subs. And these KZbinrs or saying the most in depth out of reach things, and contradicting each other. It’s so hard. For all of us small channels, hang in there!! You can do it!!!

Still thinking about what you shared. It’s so true! I have three channels. The one that is growing steadily is my knitting channel “Yarn Tales & Threads”. I think… think… the reason it’s growing is because I post consistently, use Thumbnails (the picture is simple and illustrates the theme of the video - like knitting hats or whatever the topic is), I use 3-5 words in my title (usually), I post “shorts” which seems to direct attention and traffic to my longer videos, and I started using hashtags (maybe one with title and three at end of my description. I do the same things for my other two channels but the growth is really slow on those channels. My “Always Expect the Best” channel is super slow (17 new subscribers in a month). Having a focus or niche as it’s called has made a difference. My “Always…” channel was created just to try out the many things KZbinrs suggest will “grow” your channel. Like you, I’ve found many of the suggestions not to be true, or they work in a small way, never as they say. I’ve noticed you have a slow steady growth, better than my “Always…” channel. I think having a singular focus helps a lot. Apparently mentioning money or job is a “trending” focus these days. I’ve mentioned this previously but I really liked your video about work. I wonder if that can be a niche for you. It’s so hard to make a suggestion because, you know… maybe it won’t work. At least know this… as a small KZbin creator (small channel) I’m here supporting you.

@@TwoSeniors Thank you so much for your support & engagement 🙂 .. I have gotten other suggestions, along with yours, about posting about my job / work .. I have made a few videos before, but they didn’t do very well, very low views ☹️ so, I decided to not post about work so much anymore, & deleted most of the videos..But, maybe I will give it another try & see how it works out .. I’ve been thinking about starting a 2nd channel as well 🤔 .. Originally, my channel was focused or “niched” as a candle & fragrance channel.. Sharing my collections of perfume & body spray fragrances along with my huge collection of Bath & Body Works candles ! I would film 25-30 minute videos, but got very low views & not many subscribers 😕 .. So, I just decided to do something different, lol..

I agree with you. I will take the advice that I can use from other channels and leave the rest. I started 2 channels the first of this year and I’m having fun with KZbin!

I tend to agree. There is so much information out there and much of it suggests “do this and you will succeed “. Some things work maybe a little of the time but generally the promises these people make they don’t pan out. Cheers from Sue in Canada.

Hi I understand where you are coming from and it’s a lot to think about when you are putting your KZbin videos together. I can honestly say people on your went to see real life stuff. I haven’t come across the video you talked about in this video. I have been studying the algorithm for a few months now and can say someone of the things I’ve learned are working but not all of them. I’m your number 100 subscriber. This was also a great video. Some of the advice works. I’ve just started talking about it on my channel. Keep up the great work

Right, I notice that there is a LOTt of "Do this to grow your channel" videos & they all repeat the same stuff & it obviously isn't working, just a bunch of HYPE 🙄. You are doing a great job doing videos, keep showing up for us.
