Stanly says it's over hyped but I think it's because he is talking about all of the songs combined, not as separate things inside the mod. Aka he's confused, but Silly Billy is definitely not over hyped. I love it.

Saying it's overhyped it's more subjective than a objective take when the song deserves all the love and hype it has recieved.

It’s just as good as any other great FNF song, but it’s only loved for the lyrics, which is a shame because it’s a really good song without them. I mean, as I keep saying, it’s such an amazing song, but there’s nothing unique about it. Songs with multiple sections and lyrics have existed before. Literally, nothing special with Silly Billy.

I am 100% with you on that, I love the entire song as well. But it's not often that you see a mod with a fully animated lyrics scene pretty much mid-song, with perfect visuals to accompany it. This and Rotten Smoothie are the only two I know of that have such a thing.

Yup, also, it's not in this video, but when he switches back to full size, it sounds like he says either '3 2 1 GO', or 'OKAY LET'S GO', as though warning BF that it's about to get faster, since 'Yourself' doesn't care about winning, just summoning his edition of GF here. Also, leading up to said 'summoning', even if only a few seconds, there's an increasing amount of red notes, then after she goes back to being dormant, it's all blue. Also, if you listen really closely, you can hear his GF in the mic, since she IS the microphone.

theres actually some lore behind this mod, so divide (creator) died in his sleep from cancer so one guy saw his progress and finished it,in this mod silly billy was the name for bf (the tall one) here hes called Yourself and his height is 7foot here because thats bf’s canon height,in this mod ‘Yourself’ lost ‘Herself’ (his gf) to a disease so he stopped taking care of himself and thats why he looks like a zombie,at 5:23 you can see ‘Herself’ wrap her soul around his body for a split second and at the start of the song ‘Yourself’ microphone is red for a little bit.

Well yes, that is true, but the deeper lore of it is much sadder. Yourself was created using the basis for the "Look-Alike" character Divide was making for the Sonic.EXE mod. Before he could finish his work (and part of the reason the mod was cancelled) he passed away in his sleep. The lyrics are a callout to him (herself being the example for him in the song) telling him not to fall asleep (which is when he passed away) and to stay awake long enough to see how far his work has brought the community and revolutionized FNF modding as a whole. Once you get into the deeper lore of it, the meaning it has becomes much more than what you may have originally seen.
