Making Mangle the final boss was such a cool idea. No one has ever really thought about how absolutely terrifying Mangle would actually be. Mangle gets overlooked and it is honestly one of my favourite characters. Shout out to the devs for having a completely original idea.

@@MorbidFayde "By far the worst" is a really subjective thing to say. The only thing about FNAF 3 that was truly bad were the jumpscares. Everything else is brilliant. 1. Springtrap is arguably the scariest character in the series both design wise and lore wise. 2. The story/lore is without any competition the best in all of FNAF (yes, better than FNAF 6, cuz the only good thing about that was Henry's speech and making the Puppet Charlotte). It is where the games were supposed to end, it's the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. Before all the bullshit retcons, before all the sci-fi clownery, before all the cheap plot twists that happened not for good storytelling's sake, but for cheap shock value, before Purple Guy was turned into a comically evil villain cliche collection. FNAF 3 had a disturbing, scary and mysterious, yet emotional and tragic story about the loss of innocence, suffering and revenge. It perfectly rounded off the story about the 5 Missing Children, haunting the Freddy & Friends animatronics, finally getting their revenge on Purple Guy (and the plot twist of him being Springtrap, the enemy you've been fighting in-game the whole time is genius). And the Happiest Day minigame is probably the most emotional and sad moment of the franchise. 3.The atmosphere is off the charts. "Fazbear's Fright" is such a decrepit, dreadful and creepy place, yet it has a bit of a nostalgic, magestic look to it, like an old tomb for all the animatronics to rest in as nothing more than hollowed out husks. Whereas there's only one real threat coming for you, and it's worse than anything before. You're not facing off against an old mascot guided by a scared and confused spirit, but instead a reanimated corpse of a fully aware child murderer, the one who started all this, the one who caused all this agony decades ago. He knows you're scared of him, and he toys with you, hiding in the shadows as he inevitably gets closer and closer to you, giving off a sense of impending doom. Knowing the lore, this is basically a final boss battle.

The tip is there, but the game starts as you read the tooltip. Which is why SuperHorrorBro Mike died while trying to understand the controls. Same goes for the Mangle, you need to look for the ghost while surviving from Mangle at the same time. Yes, FNAF 2 controls, but it's been a while since they played FNAF 2, might as well review them for a bit.

This is just pure gold. You get an entire game with unsettling and uncanny animatronics. And, may it be through hints or people talking about the game, you start to anticipate Mangle. You see everything in the night taking it back to FNaF 2, with only the 4 toys missing, Mangle being one of them. But then, the conveyor belt. You see the animatronics following one another into somewhere. The warnings and the memories of an entangled monster give you some type of preparation, and finally the gameplay. It isn't some mangled endoskeleton, it is an abomination, a conjucture of everything you faced, now together and ready to end your life.

This right here. This is what FNaF should be. Not some Security Breach bullshit like that game had, not just running around from animatronics who barely have anything uncanny or unsettling about them to begin with, but this. It's the true spirit of FNaF. The animatronics build themselves in front of you while you can only watch and pray to GOD that whatever it is won't kill you instantly. It's also so terrifying I think because we don't actually see that Mangle getting built, which leaves everything up to someone's imagination, which is something that will always have far more power than any bit of visual horror could. It's always so much scarier just leaving something like this in your imagination. And then there's when the Mangle is actually built. That 'ENGAGE' is so completely terrifying because it's just like this things about to kill you and you can't do a single thing about it. It's horrifying. I cannot wait to see whatever FNaF Plus has in store. I can't wait to see the fandom bring back FNaF after whatever in the hell Security Breach was.

Mangle has been my favorite ever since they introduced her. Just the concept of her is insane but to see someone implement her like THIS in a game is just so out of left pocket that i legit just fan girl'd over her so damn hard. She's the big baddy. Plus i'm a sucker for horror games and films and the introduction to her assembly plus the overwhelming mechanics she brings and forces you to do to fend her off is just *chief's kiss "Mwuah"* I want this particular mangle tattoo'd somewhere on my body. Fun fact, I think 3FS made the music for this game, so that's really cool! The music sounds so daunting throughout the playthrough generally, but the music truly peaked during the Mangle being built scene, and it really caused a great deal of anxiety to be kicked up with how high and suspenseful it got. Sometimes a soundtrack can make or break a game (as well as its mechanics and visuals, ofc) and he didn't disappoint, for I think the music definitely sells what the game was trying to achieve overall.

Mangle is one of my favorites and has been for years. I’m happy to see Mangle have a bigger role in the story and actually be one of the main antagonists

my favorite especially is when they flash their light down the main hall and mangle roars back at them from the dark, idk why but it’s such a cool feature and shows how hostile mangle is in this game

This, for me, is peak what Fnaf was from the very beginning. This horror and fear, the realization that you can’t run away, you have no escape, all you can do is fight to survive, and pray. Pray that whatever is out there to get you won’t find you. Especially in the last nights when everything is cranked up to eleven and it’s all going so quickly that you barely have time to breathe or think, you just have to rely on what you know and your muscle memory. It’s the fact that you get so stressed from trying to stay alive, your BPM elevating from the music, that when you get jumpscared, your heart practically stops in your chest. And when you succeed you can feel relief that you’re free. Horror games really lean into grotesque themes and miss themes like this. The anticipation, the building, the excitement of the challenge and the horror of the realization that you’re utterly powerless to stop what is happening and all you can do is watch the abomination build itself and come for you.

This is my first time seeing JRs gameplay, but man. Everyone talks about the character designs (for good reason) but the sound is what’s getting me. When they start the Fnaf2 section they play “London Bridge”, and when Mangle is built you can hear the radio go off. It’s really something.
