After he was missing, his wife had commented on the video telling about how he never responded to her in 3 days and after 4-5 days a search party went there and they only found his phone. He had also left his camera at home which he used to record while exploring. She thinks it may be a suicide attempt but there were no bodies of any human being with the mountains. There was one comment in the KZbin video that said "Don't go in the there you'll never get out." Most of the people say that he got stuck in the cave and couldn't get out or he could've faked his death.. or maybe there was a secret base there (because the place was near the lakes of Area 51, probably no base there.)

I think it ended up being that he’d committed suicide. I remember his girlfriend made a post some time after the whole matter of his disappearance was initially going that basically stated that police had found his car where Kenny told her he’d be parking, and his phone was left at the mineshaft he filmed this video at. She stated he’d struggled with severe depression for years and refused to get help for it and had recently quit his job. She believes he left his phone at the mineshaft so he couldn’t be tracked via GPS, additionally, apparently the video shown in this short was filmed on his phone, and not his video camera he normally used for his expeditions, implying he had no intention of actually filming a full video.

Not to mention the closest one to him compared to all of us, and everyone still believes that he died looking for the cave or that the government took him out or something paranormal lol, that's just weird. Not to mention aggressively blaming his viewers who suggested and never forced Kenny to explore the cave that he himself wanted to do. He loved hiking the desert and exploring and hiking where major hobbies. Everyone has to investigate before claiming lol
