That's the main reason I cringe at all these vigilante "i stop predators" accounts, because half the time, all they do is teach the predator what to be more secretive about and how to do what they are doing better. Everyone eats the content up but don't seem to realize it's teaching predators how to avoid getting caught even better.

If one human stops making a child we're not going extinct anytime soon. Especially not with 8 billion people in the world. One person can't make the world safe for their child unless they keep them inside the house with no access to outside sources. All you can do is instill good values and advice for them along the way and hope for the best.
