Coming from a retired tradie, if I knew those things were around when was working I would have bought one. Fact is I'm going to go to my local hardware store and see if they have them, and still buy one. They look really handy to have as a "just-inn-case" tool. So cheers for that, mate.

Excellent presentation. I have a similar tool, $43 KRLS Rivet Gun Adapter, from Amazon. It looks identical but has a 90 degree handle which I can use if needed. I am installing hood lifts from Red Line Tuning for both my Lincoln MKX and Ford Edge. I tried to pop the rivets by my 77 yr old hands...no way. Had to ask my gardener to help. I was unable to squeeze the pop rivet tool with enough force to pop these. I'll be doing the MKX this week with my new KRLS toy. I will let ya know. Good job!

Thanks for the video. I bought this unit and am quite pleased with it. I didn't want to buy a pneumatic one as I only occassionally need to install rivets.

I bought a sigma gs12 kinda pricey 271 bucks at my door . But it does metric and standard rivnuts plus the blind rivets . Works extremely well .

Milwaukee makes a rivet gun that’s battery operated for like 150bucks. I’ve never used it or seen it be used but it looks like it’s a lot smaller than this and more practical

The last time I had to use a riveting tool it was one of those Arrow's. Everything was razor sharp in a dark crawlspace under a house. I had MAYBE used the tool a couple of times before this adventure. The piece I was working on was big enough so I couldn't see the other side. It took forever to figure out the jaws were slipping. I never want that experience again so I'm looking for a slightly less painful, and frustrating option. Thanks for the genuine video.

I'm inclined to give deference to your review since you DON'T have an Amazon link and cannot profit from people buying it. You get a thumbs up. So it's been almost a year since you posted this. How do you feel about it now? It pains me to have to buy a ChiCom product. Maybe there is a US manufacturer now?

@@wilpresswil Ya, I figured that out. Still need a hefty pair of players to pull the pin out. But not beats having oil squirted all over me as happens with the pneumatic riveters

So you show half the tool but you don't show the operation and what you are doing with the drill, which way you are going, and way to long and drawn out.

Jason 607, I show the tool being used to pull some rivets, how did you miss that? As for "what I am doing with the drill" (I squeeze the drills trigger, that should be obvious) and "which way I am going".....what the heck does that mean? Maybe you should give your complaint a bit more consideration.
