Super catchy & anthemic. It kind of reminds me of Feel Nothing on Vol. 4 in how it's probably the most rockin & accessible track on the album that makes for a great single. But as far as best song on the entire album, it's hard to beat Demigods in my opinion, which is like a dramatic & masterful piece of art.
@RetroChug11 ай бұрын
The lyrics have put my experience with mental health since I was a child into words quite well. (Diagnosed at 5 years old, still on medication to this day, I'm 28.) Chronic Depression didn't kick in until college at 18 though. Been miserable on and off since, even if good things come (and go). Existential dread is one thing, but fear of losing those close to you is so much more. I don't care that one day I will stop existing, but it's those I love that bring me fear and sorrow. I already don't have much to hold onto. I live solely because I know they love me and want good things for me. Ending my life early would destroy them. But once they're gone.. what will be left? How hard will I spiral? I'm afraid. I want to spend the most time possible with them while I still can. You will love each other.

Some portions of this song sound like the song Angst by Rammstein. The guitar riff mainly. It’s basically the same. Even some of the drums when that riff part hits. Actually, it might sound more like the riff and drums in Radio by Rammstein. The speed is more similar. Angst is slower.

I love (or at least admire the courage) to do all the twists and turns HEALTH have gone through over the years from noise rock to pop back and now back to something in between and I guess industrial rock now And not afraid to say, this is better than like 90% of the old generation of industrial rock it's borrowing from. When like KMFDM or Ministry or Pig were on they were on, but even as a kid I felt they had sooo many corny elements to their sounds
