What I don't like about the relay tests is that they don't give a proper load to the contact points in the relay with an old type of light bulb? A relay or wire can measure well until you load it with current. It should have given a load and measured volt loss!!

I purchased one using your link. I have a question. Are there certain 5 pin relays that this cannot test? It looks like the 4 pin you initially use in video but has 5 pins of course. I chose the five pin setting and as soon as I press test the light is solid red. But the function on the car works (I was just trying it out) Also some of the relays make the ticking noise while blinking green some don’t?

I know I have a bad relay it says it's good. Then when I reinstall it it overheats and shuts my engine off. And it won't turn over but if you let it set for a bit to cool off then the engine will start.. I'll still use this little gadget. For other relay types. Thanks
