Not really. He is just like blanka in sf iv series. Incredibly annoying but not really cheap. Human smoke, kenshi, jax, a well played mileena, freddie krueger, skarlet, raiden... He has a lot of shitty matchups. The real cheap characters in this game are raiden, sonya, cyrax and kung lao. Cyrax is rage inducing with all his resets, mix ups, bomb shenaningans retardedly high damage...

Mk9- better combos, story, boss. However not balanced. Mkx- better presentation, guest characters, more balanced. However story is short.

MK9 is my preferred game. I got disappointed in MKX because it didn't feel like how I felt I'd be like, causally in particular. MK9 was so fun.

i like mkX more. its just more fun to me and looks smoother. the meter management makes the game less about fishing for a dank ass combo and fuses in some footsy, and some back and forth aspects. mk9 got a waaaaaaaay better story tho. plus removing tag fighting was sacrilege after already having it. but all in all i just find mkX more enjoyable

I definitely preferred the gritty/grimey atmosphere of MKX the only drawback for me was the soundtrack. But none of the MK soundtracks have appealed to except for UMK3 and that’s only certain stages. What they did with Kano in MKX was enjoyable.

Personally I never really like most of MK's roster. 9 and X are really good games, but i was never attached to like 87% of all their characters. i don't even have one in my top 10 favorite fighting game characters.

I prefer the art style and characters of MK9 over MKX, but they definitely had better gameplay and balance overall in MKX. There was some real shit tier characters in MK9 and some characters dominated most of the cast like Kabal and Cyrax.

Female Nasus Yeah but that was the 90s. This game came in 2011. And had a considerably high budget. I wont complain about models but having them literaly being the same on all female characters (except sheeva) is a bit lazy. I think different body proportions give them a little bit more personality (IE cammy small athletic body contrasting with chun li muscular legs, etc). Anyway just a nitpick. I think mk9 and umk3 are the best in the series. Trilogy would be the best if it wasnt the friggin loading times
