The 20th anniversary of mvc2 is 2020 according to the Sega Dreamcast and Arcade versions... Ps2 in 2022 xbox in 2025... Closing with to the xbox 360 and ps3 in 2029

...And they wouldn't even have to do much, too! By renewing the license, they could re-list the HD port on PSN and XBL (and maybe put a little work in to port it to the generation after that) without a hassle. The fact that this is a possibility and won't likely happen is positively infuriating.

The rights issues are questionable but the game itself was three generations ago, so the Switch could handle that part no problem.

And I still don't like the music. Game is great, despite the balance issues(running Hayato on point can be painful. Especially since every opponent and their mothers ALWAYS has a Sentinel on their fucking team), but the jazz always felt off for me in a fighting game like this. But at this point I just got used to it. EDIT: OH, OH! YES! Colossus AI is helluva MEGA SHIT. INPUT READS and LOCKS YOU DOWN TILL METER, and SUPER ARMOR! Rinse and repeat. I fucking hated playing against him because of that!

marvel vs capcom 1 is my all time favorite, but you can't deny mvc2 is by far the best one in the series, the rooster is absolutely perfect, the stages are cool, the soundtrack while stuck in a single line, it was smooth jazzy, final boss was meh to me, but still interesting

Actually, Street Fighter is the fine wine of fighting games. The Marvel vs Capcom series is crap because the gameplay is broken and unbalanced and it's not as good as the Street Fighter series.
