as good as gentrys performance is, this is much better. this was cleaner than his worlds run, and gentrys was not as clean, yet the judges scored it higher. its kinda disappointing imo.

Watch the video again. I personally prefer Zach's style over Gentry's but you can clearly see several misses. If you're watching in 1080p HD you can clearly see a knot in the string towards the end of the freestyle. Gentry was hands down cleaner.

what he's saying is that this was cleaner than his performance at worlds which scored higher than gentrys. gentry was less clean than his worlds yet scored higher than zachs at nats. both had the same freestyle so it doesn't really make sense

after watching the first place guy....this was so much better than his. so much cleaner and technical. and easier to follow for someone like me who doesnt watch this" stuff. only thing i think that gave him the win was the "performance". just alot more energetic.

No, only in a few of his performances there are horizontal or even a front style combos... That's one of the thing i love about zach, cause in my opinion he gives more importance to the artistic side of the performance than the competitive one. This is only my own opinion though
