Actually if you look closely on stage 2 of butlins form you can see he still has his 2 arms. It isnt changing his body from the looks of it. Its like its growing on him and it grows more and more and by stage 3 his body has been consumed. However I'd say if you destroyed the g virus growing on him youd find his body inside of it but hed probably be dead since if the g dies he dies.

Even back then, the Developers did an awesome job. A lot of the animations were essentially the same compared to now with subtle/dynamic improvements. Of course, as technology evolved, the graphics did as well. I remember playing the 1st Resident Evil at 7-8 years old. Resident Evil games are still as stressful haha!

I was confused about why they chose to remove the eyes from the final Brikin form in the remake, until I noticed them on the shoulders, and realized thereafter that that version actually DOES retain a semi-humanoid shape, with the two eyes sitting atop what look like shoulders. Former Birkin's 3rd form is wrong in this video. It's from scenario B, the fight on the lift to the underground laboratory. In scenario A you fight with 2nd form in this place, so the form from the video is like 2,5 haha. Birkin's 3rd and 4th stage is in the final battle in scenario A and he looks more similar to the Remake version.

I like that they just generally gave him more of a personality. He'll crack his neck during chases, push zombies out of the way like fucking nothing. There's even a subtle frustrated look in his animations when you stun him. Hell, it's easy to miss, but at one point he does a super hero landing. I find it fascinating how he's very organic and not at all robotic and yet he was created just to follow orders and fuck shit up. Another thing, he's normally completely mute and yet the Super Tyrant vocalizes, it roars. Why only then?

And they did not disappoint, except for the arrogant old re2 fans. If you look closely, G4's body is pulsating, growing extra limbs around its body, and its degraded appearance can imply it's a forced evolutionary state from trying to heal the extensive damage G3 was dealt. Its decrepit, degraded, yet beastly new form symbolizes the loss of mind in trade for sheer strength. And then G5 symbolizes the prize G has paid for trying to heal such extensive damage beyond not even half a G4 body remaining.

1:17- Honestly, I prefer almost everything about the remake's Lickers except their teeth. The original's teeth are more unsettling imo because they're at least by comparison relatively closer to human. The remake version reminds me more of Pennywise's shark teeth from 2017's *IT.* For many *RE* mutations, I find something vaguely human or humanoid creepier than something fully animalistic. As an extra nitpick, the remake Licker's brain could've been a little less swollen, looks too much like a balloon. Part of what made the design eerie was how it resembled a quasi-realistic exposed brain.

Every time you somehow drop him from a great height, he'll return in a stronger form. PS- I'm not a player, my knowledge of games comes from Let's Play videos and Wikipedia.

The game explanation is the G virus becomes more and more unstable the more it is damaged. In the remake G1 sometimes covers up its eye, in which case shooting at his head is the best method. This destabilized his human head, allowing the new G2 head to take over. G2 was heavily damaged all over and nearly died, so it had to grow new skin and bony plates all over for protection. G3 took shots to all its eyes and its chest, almost dying again. This sets it on a downward spiral from G4 to G5 where it becomes more and more twisted and disfigured.

@I.S.T Not really because when you defeat G4 in the original it deforms into a blob. That makes more sense to me. The G3 to G5 made much more sense. Defeating G3 he falls over and further mutates going quadrupole, its chest turns into a mounth growing larger spikes, then when takes too much damage it's no longer able to evolve, but instead deteriorated into a limbless mass.

A minor detail i love with The original birkin is The mutation each step goes though. Birkin was shoot mostly in his right arm. Wich is why that arm get bigger then The rest of his body.
