Tammy these were beautiful. Nice job. Wondering if you could spray them with acrylic sealer to give them a bit more stability, hmmm might have to give it a go and see if it makes the crystals dissolve or not. Thanks for sharing another amazing idea.

I wonder if there is anything else you could use to make a similar effect. I know you can use sugar to make edible crystals, but I wonder if table salt would work too.

Pretty! A good idea for homemade ornaments this year! Do I have to use glass containers for the Borax?
@yoyomax126 ай бұрын
I don't think you have to use glass, but glass is easier to clean and it doesn't absorb the chemicals like plastic might (you probably shouldn't use a plastic container for anything else after using it for this purpose).

Ok…thank you!

Ours grew crystals, but the pipe cleaners had areas of heavy growth and areas where growth was light. I think the problem lay in using lukewarm water instead of boiling water.

how to you crystalize things that wont float such as, driftwood or pinecones? it is so much fun. im enjoying it completely.
@yoyomax124 жыл бұрын
You could weight them down by adding an "anchor" like tying a string to a large metal nut or bolt and then it would float up from the bottom.
@JeffsGrl111 жыл бұрын
What an awesome craft. Going to have to try this.
@yoyomax124 жыл бұрын
I recommend that people use safety glasses, thick rubber gloves and hazmat suits to make this craft. All article used to make this craft should be declared hazardous material and burned in an incinerator. This comment being posted because of safety concerns about this video. DO NOT TRY ANYTHING I HAVE POSTED IN THIS VIDEO OR YOU MIGHT DIE.
