These issues are all self inflicted defunding nationwide. Why would anyone want to hitch their star to any department known worldwide as corrupt, criminal, violent, abusive, narcissistic, and dangerous. Most departments have a reputation of being the biggest threat to every community member. We no longer call them because of how much worse things get once they show up.
