I'm always suspicious of "trooper of the year"s. Too many departments bestow that, as this one seems to have, merely for having the most tickets or DUIs issued. This in turn incentivizes officers to cut corners in due process or even outright fabricate evidence. Thus dishonest cops tend to get those awards disproportionately. Seen it many times. I'm not saying all of them do, or this guy did, but to me it makes him more suspicious, not less.

An evidence supervisor knows 100% seized drug money is counted and immidately taken to the bank for deposite and safe keeing until trial, they KNOW the bank will count and recount the money and if it’s off, they call the department and Internal Affairs is contacted . As bad as it gets. No way in hell he was in on it. He has not way of making it go away or be invisible, the bank will find any discrepancies. Absurd people think he was involved and. We had "Trooper of the year" in DUI's in my town too, two years later they let him go because they were all getting dismissed in court because he wasn't following procedures.

He's back on patrol. Gee, that's really wonderful.

funny how there's never enough evidence to charge cops but that same scenario would be enough to convict any body else .

some cops are equally as corrupt as any cartel, and should be treated exactly like they would treat a common citizen in the same situation.

Why the f is it counted by hand. Use a bill counter like the banks, record the happening. Case closed. Tax payer money saved.

There are plenty of people that have integrity and are honest that are looking for a good job. Seems the police and sheriff departments aren't interested in hiring them. It's no wonder communities are rebelling when it comes to police contact. Time to fire the dishonest cheats and bully's starting at the top.

the cops promote compromised people who have been vetted to be dishonest and have committed their own crimes on the job, this way they know that their supervisors will not prosecute them when they commit crimes because everyone in the club is tainted with one thing or another.

Look at all the lawsuits against cops & police departments all over the country!! Look at all the phone camara recordings of traffic stops or cops coming to a house or on a sidewalk/street or business & how they esculate into a false arrest on trumped up charges & these cops do not care if they are taken to court!!

This trooper still has 3,000 times more integrity, courage, and respect than that low life pool hall grifter and pirate Joe Brandon Biden. Biden does his piracy in plain sight even as a so called "public servant" in foreign "dealings." The murky, "accidental??" trooper incident, is chump change for the real Jigsaw villain costing the country trillions, Brandon Biden and his FUBAR Marxist pirate policies and political "dealings"!!!!
