Why music of YS series in PC-Engine (Turbo-Grafx16) sounds awesome? Because of The arranger - Ryo Yonemitsu (米光亮), his cuttinng-edge 80"s synthesizers resulted in Hudson's version sounds unique & awesome ever. Mieko Ishikawa composed original YS III BGM, The X68000 version of the game introduced a number of additional compositions, which were composed by Masaaki Kawai. However, for Turbo-Grafx16 (PC Engine) YS III tracks are arranged by Ryo Yonemitsu. Reminder, all Husdon YS 1-4 and Dragon Slayer I & II on Turbo Grafx16 (PC Engine) platform are arranged by Ryo Yonemitsu (米光亮)

you know this going to sound crazy but everytime i listen to this arrangement of the boy who had wings i can't help but to say that i tend to hear some similarites of the james bond movie song the living daylights sang by ah-ha in terms of the synth trumpets instrumentation with the 80s synth overlaping the orchestral elements which the trumpets instrumentation is the hallmark of a bond score particularly a john barry bond score if you will lol
