Ys V (PS2) - All Bosses (No Damage)

I hope they can remake this as well or at least ported to PC like the other games and in english because comparing it to the SNES Version this looks very good.

I played this version. It SUCKS. Combat and magic have been improved from the SNES version, but the world design / level design has been drastically drastically downgraded. The PS2 version is missing a bunch of areas (Marshland is gone, woodcutter's village is gone, jungle is gone), and all of the dungeon interiors have been redesigned into endless copy+pasted rooms. It's just room after room of pure tedium. The game seems cool at first, but by the end of the game I was hating every moment of those damn dungeons. ...glad i played it though, it was interesting to see what this version was like. it was worth the £200 secondhand price from eBay for sure, I don't regret my time with it. ..... but it does suck.

Watching this makes me think on how would this game end up looking if done Dana-style. Thing is, when Falcom decides to properly remake Kefin... ... would they make it an Adol-solo adventure? You know: so as to respect the element crystal mechanics of the original (it had A LOT of potencial). Perhaps only adding a 'sidekick' to provide more variety. ... or would they make it modern (Seven/Celceta/Dana)-style? Which would look awesome, and would allow us gamers to use character like Niena, Dogi (we need the Wall Crusher again as playable, please), and Terra of the Ibur/Evil gang (whatever the hell their kanon name is to be) in the ultra-fun style they've accustomed us. ... or they would find a way to make both styles coexist?! I'll go for option three, but would settle anyway for the other two (they ARE cool, plus we could use another Adol-solo game). But if they can mix the best of both styles... HOLY Winged Ones, Adol!

I’d like to see that honestly. They’ve remade Celceta multiple times now and still can’t pick a final boss. But they have no qualms remixing the song (not that I don’t like it but it’s not termination so there’s only so many ways you can remix it)

They better NOT cut tracks from the original game and add new ones while remixing like only a 15% of the original tracks, like they did with Celceta. (it pissed me off how they didn't remixed A Great Ordeal...)
