I know that the video is of older date, maybe u did a new one for all i know. But i doubt it anyway. Id agree with many of those, but: Drakan The Ancients Gates, Shining Force EXA, Shining Force NEO, Phantasy Star Universe are kinda missing from ur list. Sure title says Best, but id argue that some mentioned are not really the BEST. as stated by me. Both Shining Forces are i think at least as good as BG DA. Drakan is also not too bad, if u like fighting and flying on a Dragon. Upgrading both dragon and the main protagonist. Phantasy Star Universe i think pointless to say anything, go into a map, fight monsters real time, get items get better etc. etc. Great action rpg with good story or great, depends who how likes the game. If u did select games for their score in like metacritic, PSU 68 and 8.1 PSU: AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS 7.7 user score Drakan the Ancients Gates its 78 and 8.7 user score Shining Force EXA u get 64 crit. and 7.8 user, Shining Force NEO 69 & 8.3. Why u might ask, cause those arent really action rpgs, Jrpgs sure, but not action, action is the fight sequence, not happening in realtime world. As is with all the others. DC is a mixed bag, but even then, when u go dungeon, u go fighting ARPG style. BG same shit, KH, same YS and Champions games are Diablo like games, and also BG games same shit. ARPG as fck or as they called too Hack & Slash RPGs, u hack slash through monsters gain loot, gain exp, gain lvls Marvel and Xmen are kinda the same shit, but with diff heroes and also it reminds me more of Dungeon Siege games, party of heroes instead of ONE. See all in all, some games shouldnt be on the list at all. Cause id categorize those as JRPGs kinda like cRPGs, sure fighting is action oriented when u fight, but as go through the world, u wont encounter a monster that u need to kill as u go, ull go to a happy room where u slay that monster. In this case FF XII is an action RPG as well. And im quite shocked its not among the BEST ones. Dont get me wrong im not ttrying to make fun of u, probably sounds like it. Im sorry if it is. Im just trying to point out that some games just because they have action oriented fights, arent actually Action RPGs. Obilivion, Skyrim, Gothic, Two Worlds, Diablo, RIsen, BG DA, Grim Dawn, these are action RPGs, different scales, different styles of ARPGs but all do the same shit. U go exploring, kill shit, come back with done quest, the story goes forward. The difference is that Gothic or TES games, are very much more story driven games, or exploratory games, as action games, sure u fight realtime action style, but still it more focuses of acomplishint quest task, then just go and kill shit. Like in Diablo or Grim Dawn or even Champions of norrath or BG. See this if u dont know what i mean Radiata Stories kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3e6eoZ8m91oa5I when the video hits 41 second mark, fight begins, u go into that fighting arena of sorts with ur buddies. U fight until 1 minute and 44 seconds, tehn comes the how u did screen, u know exp gold etc. lvls and again u and ur buddies Around 2 minute mark u back again in the world and go on with ur life. Understand what i mean. Not Action RPG. Heres a Action RPG BG DA: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqvGm4ePpbtqbsk Video starts, u are greeted with guards etc. go into tavern, take a quest, go down to cellar: Cellar part starts at 7:36 (tavern serves as a hub, whereu get quests etc) As u are down at cellar, u immediately starts smashing things and battle with rats and goblins or whatever is there, spiders i dont know, but u dont go to a fight screen or map, or place u do it right there in the cellar without anyone else u are alone, hero, that smacks creatures and gains lvls and items and do the quest eventually. U go lvl by lvl further in game doing the quests and go further with the main story, to a final conclusion in the end. What i try to picture here, that these games are both in ARPG category according to you, yet, couldnt be more different both of them. But u can compare any i did pick out, as well OUT, Abyss, Rogue, etc. all are the same like. Again FFXII is more action like as all the mentioned, i mean those i picked out as they are not ARPGs. Cause in FFXII if u didnt play and check the video like here kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKSsdqhmqdR9Y7c, see this thsi is more on the line with xmen and marvel, fighting action real time sure u can pause to add commands or spells etc. but the point is, every creature u fight in real time, not in a bubble, a room or arena of sorts. Again i dont want to discredit ur work, but still many of these ARPGs as u claim ARENT really ARPGs, just JRPGs with realtime fights in a arena, bubble or room whatever u prefer, as opposed to realtime world like with BG, or even FFXII. Tales of Legendia, Tales of the Abyss, Rogue Galaxy, Radiata Stories, Star Ocean, these 5 are the same system, u explore, see a monster, go in for the kill, loading screen, arena, fight realtime action style, fight ends, end results, loot etc. While a real ARPG ahs none of these. U fight, loot drops, u get exp after kill, pick u loot, on ur way exploring. The one comon thing is the exploring part. U do that in both. I checked just to be sure, all mentioned games, and are do the same shit. Run along, explore, go probably do a quest, and on the way, fight a monster or two, but before fight arena loads, kill the creatures, and result screen, and everyone gets exp and loot and whatever else. I did repeat myself enough time. If u cant see the difference, im sorry. Its not that those games are bad, on the contrary, thoes are excelent in my opinion, just not ARPGs, only regular good old JRPG. YS is too but after the J comes the A :). Anyway, i hope i didnt offend u in any way, great video btw, and good choices with real ARPGs, all greats. But again, u could replace those i added, instead of these. If u did a retake, but PLEASE DONT. I think u wouldnt im just emphasizing that U REALLY DONT DO IT. cause the video is good as it is. Sure few mistakes are there in MY opinion. AGain its just my insights, but if anyone compare and see for themselves that something is off with those games compared to the others. Again for me title like YS is a JRPG, and ARPG at the same time. even though its more A then J. I dont know. some are borderline. As with Shining FOrce EXA and Neo, its ARPG i think but it feels like a JRPG. Sorry for this massive wall of text. REad it dont read it i dont care. The point is these are not ARPGs Tales of Legendia, Tales of the Abyss, Rogue Galaxy, Radiata Stories, Star Ocean. (Btw to differentiate id call even those that are here more like Hack & Slash RPGs then ARPGs. The term ARPG should go to titles like TES, GOthic, Risen, Two Worlds etc., but thats just me) Who cares read it, see the videos, see the difference. Those who dont well, u dont have to, all games presented in the video are fckin awesome in the first place.

@@ProFanboy I can understand u not reading all the things i typed, but u sadly by accident or because its too fricking long, forget to read about the part where im saying the game in ur list are top notch i think, but that 5 of them arent ARPGs, that was the whole main point. When i did begin, i was most likely shocked that some other games arent there, like Neo and EXA, or Drakan, even FFXII, but then i went on and well noticed that 5 of the games are not really ARPGs, u can read it in the text if u be interested to find out which ones. Cause those are JRPGs, just the combat instead of turn based, is action based, but is about the same thing, u open up an arena fight ur fight, end results pop up, informing u about ur loot, exp. and lvl. That was the main point, but it didnt begin that way, must admit. Agree lists are subjective everyone finds different games better or worse. Especially if they are very close as of quality, then the win goes to that game u prefer, just natural. I think. So i was ok with ur list, great games, if not great at least quite good, and i was in agreement on this part with u. The problem for me was with that not every single game is an ARPG, and i named examples, videos etc. etc. thats why the text is soooo long :).
