Welcome back to Ys VIII. I'm catching up with recordings I made back in Oct/Nov 2023. In this episode Sahad has an iconic moment - We learn fishing and cooking - Laxia executes some ice-skating moves - and the parrot steals the show! Audio issues: 1. Any recordings from the PS4 Pro tend to have some 'white noise' in the background (I turn down the sound there as far as possible). 2. I have a slight lisp at the moment due to wearing a dental brace. Mainly the "S" I have trouble with. Thank you for your interest and I hope you enjoy my voice acting -- if not, do let me know and I'll drop it like a hot potato!! 😁

I'd recommend the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, particularly the private server version HorizonXI. It's free to play. FFXI is my favorite game, and I've played a few since 1995 when I discovered video gaming by exposure to a demo of a PS1 in a shopping center in Georgetown on Penang Island in Malaysia. I was there with my Thai wife to renew my Thai visa and saw the demo of an "Alien" shooter. "What is that?", I exclaimed. "It's a Playstation. The girls have one", my wife said. I bought 3 games, the Alien game and probably Tomb Raider and Command and Conquer. and immediately got into them on return to Bangkok. I've been a gamer since. Try HorizonXI. MMORPGs are a whole different level of gaming.

Oh yay, glad to see to more! I was just thinking of these videos recently. I'd forgotten that scene of Little Paro's first outing as messenger. "I! tell! Get! Treats!" Little Paro knows what he wants! :D.

God, this game is so wild and amazing. I have no idea what mind-expanding substances the writing team were experimenting with when they were making it but I'm so glad they did.

I love watching playthroughs, and especially yours - they're very relaxing. I coincidentally beat this game a couple of days ago, but I will go back to get the best ending and finish whatever sidequests are still left. What an experience this was.

Favorite ys game by far. Just finished the book for it as well and it was such a great adaptation in my opinion. It was as fun as playing the game. Highly recomended if anyone hasnt read it yet

@@Food4Dogs Certainly! Happy gaming! I'm prone to tendonitis of the thumb and trigger-finger type issues. It can be made worse with stuff like rapid clicking a mouse or pressing keys such as with Warframe's quick hack-and-slash gameplay or holding down the gas or drift in Mariokart 8.. to try to unlock golden Mario. Thankfully I'm ok with games like Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Persona 5 Royal though! P.S. I'm also glad to see more controller/input options being developed now such as the Playstation "Access" customizable controller, but I haven't tried it yet.

I really like the scenes with the bird. I just really like birds. But it sure is amazing how Dogi managed to build the village overnight. Dogi is the broest of the bros. I like Dogi. The other characters are also great. Especially Sahad. The fishing was also really cool, even though the tougher fish really hurt my hands. My poor hands. That final fish was tough. But I caught it. It just really hurt my hands.

Amazing, isn't it? I do have a lot of problems with many fast-paced games. But (!) - any Falcom game, I'm good with. I don't know what it is - the design of the combat, the controls programming? - but they just fit me like a glove. It just feels intuitive and great. So obviously I love them! 😎

Same here! After 10-15 mins, those fast action games leave my hands cramped and hurting. Which is why it takes me so long to get through some of them.

cool. . there are costumes. maybe the treasure chests need specific color keys. are the characters pirates ? i wish i could make a game with some people. ooh, i love crafting. when did ys 8 lacrimoa release. does this game have grinding ? ive heard a game soundtrack similar to an android game.. forgot what the name was. i think it was also an arpg.. do you play android games. christin's costume looks like dante's from dmc x D . does the game have choices with consequences the game is time limited ..? the world map looks nice. ive always wanted to play a game where there are no inherent quests and multiples, and such a big open world with so many to do. and some achievements this looks like a great game. im somewhat interested in playing games like these. but what i only have is a low-end pc and a smartphone tho . id rather watch on ps4 than play. had fun interacting is this game multiplayer it couldve been nice if it was possible to burn the whole island. cant wait for the part 2. yes !

I was scrolling in KZbin (ofc) when I stumbled upon this video. It piqued my interest because of the game thumbnail at first. I was curious cause this vid have 30min. But the views has not even reach a hundred. But alas I press it and surprised when the narrator spoke I was a bit concerned until i saw the picture of the channel and then realized that it justified the coarse voice because infact it was an old lady. I was stoked that i felt disappointed in my self to not realize sooner.😅 Speaking of which it always feels good have elders play games that people like. I just have a question. Who does the editing of your videos?
