This was a PSP game that was only in Japan and now it is coming out in the states because of the love for Falcom RPGS. LOH Dragon Slayer 1&2 needs a remake and for all modern consoles.

Which, could that also be a good sign they're going to keep Sheh as Estelle for the Sky remakes? Obviously that's not a guarantee, totally different companies handling the localization and all that, but if this is an indicator that Falcom's keeping things consistent, I'd certainly love to see it.

⁠​⁠@@neodav00001it’s a very promising sign that they’ll be back for the Sky remake. I think the biggest hurdle for the Sky remake is whether Gungho can commit to keeping the dub union like NISA to incentivize the remaining voice actors to return for this large project. There has been no word on that and I imagine it would be discouraging for the actors to work on Reverie being union, then Sky remake being non-union. The fact the Stephanie Sheh is here shows there is a willingness to keep returning at least.

I'm talking about we only got the ys 10 a few months ago it's recent for us ( not talking about Japan) and now they announced the newest version of the same game, if they truly love his fans they could wait the release of the vanilla version and when they got finished the new version they could release but no. It's that kind of thing I'm talking. I'm happy with the ys 10? Of course I love the game I already beat it but I'm happy with this news of this version? Of course not I didn't think they would pull an "atlus" on us fans who support them. People talking they did this with ys 8 yeah they did but not in this way they did not release the 8 with more content again on vita but release to new consoles. For me and it's only my opinion they could wait then and release this new version when the Ps6 came out. We'll that all xd

Yesh, it's the same engine, arguably the first iteration of, Ys 7 thru 9's combat mechanics. (You'll notice how similar it is to Ys 7) This came out on psp in Japan during the time between ys 7 and trails from zero's release. Hence why the roster is only ys 7 and trails in the sky characters. Lloyd from Zero is in the game in a limited capacity

I’d suggest it if you wanna get into the series but prefer action based combat and since its the start of an arc, daybreak is also a decent entry point. The upcoming remake of the first entry in the series will also implement this system, I hope you look forward to it.
