Perodua Axia 2023 [Genting Hillclimb] - Small in Size, But Big in Fun | YS Khong Driving

Here you go guys and girls, our made-in-Malaysia-for-Malaysians-car, the Perodua Axia driven up our favorite mountain road.
Despite it being only 1.0 liters in capacity, this naturally-aspirated little car is big on fun. Now wider and even more well-balanced, it is very agile, and makes up for the lack of power through agility.
This was a drive I enjoyed very much.

It's always impressive to see uncle khong still being able to drive confidently and skillfully, especially in challenging conditions like driving up a hill to Genting Highland. It takes a lot of experience and knowledge to drive a car with only 67hp axia up a steep incline, uncle khong has mastered this skill. Driving a car requires concentration, awareness, and quick reflexes, and it's clear that uncle khong has all of these qualities. It's also impressive that you able to drive this little 3 cylinders small car like it has 150hp, even though it has much less power. Uncle Khong is setting a great example for other drivers, regardless of their age(same age to my dad) , to drive safely and confidently. It's important for all drivers to remember to drive within their abilities and the limitations of their vehicles, but uncle khong is showing that age should not be a barrier to being a skilled and competent driver. Overall, it's great to see that uncle khong is still enjoying driving and taking on challenging drives with confidence. It's a testament to your experience and skill, and it's definitely something to be proud of!

@@YSKhongDriving This Bukit kimanis has something strange like anti gravity. If you put a bottle of mineral water on the incline road, instead of roll down the slope it will roll up the hill. Try doing it at the road sign that says 32 km to Keningau. Works like magic.

.. (imho) summary: The entry level G and Advanced are the best buys. Advanced? For those who want something fully loaded and more premium, that they intend to keep for long, either as a primary or secondary/shared/family car. The X is not bad, but the SE spec grade above is not recommend. This 2203 Axia is more for comfort, spaciousness and economical driving. Get the 1.3 4Auto 👍 BeZZa for performance.. and get that before the new gen with D-CVT (likely) and higher price is released next year or so 😊 The Axia boxy design at some angles, will not be for everyone, and the lower back bumper design gives it a fat unappealing look. Price increase is unavoidable at this point for P2 IMO, considering outside factors and the lower ringgit, and that D-CVT - save up for higher cost of repairs/replace if keeping long term. Have been driving the 2023 Axia AV fairly often the last two months. My brother got it to replace his previous gen Axia, so Im familiar with both. I also still own my 2017 Auto BeZZa 1.3x, but one that has modified brakes, suspension, rims+tyres, and the full set of UR stability bars.

@@amaimask4419 The D-CVT paired with the 4-cylinder in the Myvi 1.5 is really good. However there is a premium (price) on the Myvi, and the all-new model would likely be launched by next year (preview this year end perhaps). The D-CVT is also good in the new(current) Axia, however that NA 3-cylinder and slightly underpowered engine, would not be favoured by some. The good old, reliable and inexpensive (including maintenance) 4 AT in the BeZZa is great and well paired with the powerful engine and lighter chassis. The 4AT gives you great control if you play with the transmission and do engine braking. However, it's not so economical at lower speed and when the traffic is bad. The D-CVT would give better acceleration at the first and second gear (lower speed) of the 4AT. At fast highway speeds above 90 KM/h, the D-CVT could give better fuel economy.
