yes, for honda hybrid cars, the NVH is quite good. as i am the owner of honda city hybrid i-dcd version for 4 years now, i can vouch for what i am disclaiming earlier. really a quiet drive once EV hybrid mode kicks in, and the noise is quite okay when the petrol engine starts to take over.

For me that already get used with our old cars with bad NVH, when i step up to the current B segment cars it's consider an upgrade for me when come to refinement. To me bad NVH just like a things that you will have to tolerate and i mean come on. How quiet that you all want for a B segments cars. It's suppose to be a budget cars. All cars will have a bad NVH when you push harder. Even all current B segments cars already have a very good NVH and better than all old B segments which felt like no sound proofing at all.

Damn, the NVH in Honda Citu Hatchback is quieter compared to my GM6 Honda City. Thank you uncle for the all round explanation. I drove the Honda City Hybrid (same like mine) in SOCAR, actually not bad too, quite powerful.

essentially until up to highway speeds, the engine just acts like your bog standard generator that revs louder the more load (electric appliances) you put on it

Very similar to Prius C but the regular Prius 1.8 is the real hybrid, best selling in the world but UMW Toyota Malaysia don’t bring in newer model 🤷‍♀️

Depends on when and what you are doing. Both have their quiet and not so quiet moments. Generally both are quiet if you drive them normally.

@@Gettome8962 really ka? Bcoz I see nazz abdullah video about reviewing his civic fc and complaining about his car handles pretty decent. Can feel body rolling when do cornering. I mean every car can feel body rolling when take any corner but car that higher segment like civic should've better handling la imo. So I guess Iriz & Civic handles pretty much the same?
