Shelly I have always appreciated your closeup shots as they really show the detail on how the foundation looks on your skin. From memory this one looks the best just beautiful. Re the name maybe they’re trying to convey long wear by Matte but skin like with Luminous. This might be a future buy for me.

My gosh girl! This whole look is gorgeous! And the YSL foundation is so flawless, you could *almost* get me to give up my BareMinerals OG Original loose mineral powders, to which I've been loyal for over 20 years. That YSL is perfect on your face, but I wonder if it would cover my moody rosacea. Love this video! And of course the cameo appearance by Ziva...!😜

I just bought this foundation yesterday and got to wear it for 8 hours today! It's awesome! Did not wear off at all. I didn't wear a primer, but I did wear sunscreen, blush, and set it with Glowish powder by Huda Beauty. I have dry skin and exfoliate my skin in the morning. It looked great 👍 Just start with a little and build it up if needed. My experiment will be wearing a mask at work on Tuesday to see if it lasts. Can you test Denessa Myricks wet balm morning dew? I started my skin care routine in my 30s and I swear my skin is better now than it was then, so you can always jump in wherever you are!! Vitamin C and retinol have been the biggest impact for me (mostly repairing old sun damage).

I LOVE your hair! The color is fantastic! I recently colored mine purple, for the very first time, and I love it! As far as the foundation, I'm putting it on a list of possibilities for wedding makeup for when my daughter finally decides to get married. (Not that I want her to do it soon but I know her and she'll end up deciding and then doing it in a short amount of time. I liked this one a bit better than the Chanel (that one got a B grade) - mainly because the Chanel dries me out a little bit making it uncomfortable by the end of the night. Visually they're quite similar and both nice - so in that regard, yes I'd say this one looks similar in finish and blurring.

Brow video added to my list!! In the meantime - I haven't done any hair growth products or things like that on them (thankfully I made it out of the 90s without plucking them to bare) but every night and morning when I do my skin care, when I put on my moisturizer I take whatever residue is left on my hands and brush my brows straight up with it to sort of train them to lay that way. My right brow still misbehaves but they've gotten much better! Then I use brow product to brush them up in place when I do my makeup.

I almost passed on this foundation after loving the sample because I thought it was making my chin break out. After a break, I tried a new sample and I'm happy to say that I picked it up because I really do love it! It wears SO well all day though I'm not entirely sure I got the right shade, LOL. You look amazing and I'd really love a one palette, three looks with the ND palette! I also picked that up and I haven't stopped using it. You look gorgeous and I hope you have an amazing year in 2023!

@@verawilders2577 I picked it up and some days I like it more than others; no breakouts. It can make my skin feel a bit dry at times so I wear a good moisturizer underneath. Hope that helps!

@@verawilders2577 wanted to drop one more thing. I just tried a sample of the new KVD serum foundation and I think I may like it a bit more but it’s only the first try. The color match is better for me and I don’t feel that dry or oily (combo) feeling; it’s also $20 less 😀 I’d recommend a sample of both if you can and I hope it works out!

Hi Monica! There are a few primers I like with this one - the Wet n Wild Impossible primer is one of my favorites, and a new favorite is the Caliray So Blown primer. I also love the Elf putty primers (and the Tatcha Silk Canvas as well). StriVectin Line BlurFector and Amazing Cosmetics Line Smoother Primer are my other 2 favorites. I think that's all of my best of the best!

Did this foundation give you the same vibes as the Very Valentino one ? The skeleton of the formula is the same from this one to Very Valentino to Urban Decay Stay Naked to L'Oréal Infallible Fresh Wear and L'Oreal True Match Nude 🤫 Not the same pigmentation from one to the other, and some formulations tweaks that can slightly change the overall consistency, but all of them are close to be twins 😉
