I recently bought the full size original Black Opium. Smells wonderful. I think every woman should have this in their collection in any size because it is a very sexy fragrance. I bought this perfume for date night or going out for the evening. Be very careful where you spray this perfume. It will last a while on your skin but it will last forever on your clothes. I sprayed some all over on me and two days later I could smell it on my dirty laundry and my jacket.

The performance of the original is not good on me. Plus the fact that its so popular makes me want to stay away. But anytime i wear it, i just cant help it. It’s really nice. A better substitute is La nuit Tresor a la folie. It has the same gourmand sweetness and it last way longer. Please do a review of the Lancome Tresor line next. Thanks for the video!

personally i think Black Opium Nuit Blanche smells like licorice, and that’s why i love it! Pomegranate juice also tastes EXACTLY like the scent!

Yes, the original is the best! I had it when it first came out and back then it did feel special. Now it’s become so popular and also copied I don’t wear it as much. The flankers have all been disappointing to me.

I hate licorice. I don’t get licorice thank god. I don’t get coffee either. I loved the Blanche it has an extra sweet note that the original doesn’t. And it is stronger.

I Have a decant of Black Opium EDP...for me it was almost all vanilla I like it but probably won't be picking up a bottle as there are a couple vanilla scents I like better (Indolt Tihota and Atilier de Ors Lune Feline).

Hello! I think Black Opium is overrated, but I do agree and think this is a classic crowd pleaser, and you honestly cannot go wrong with it. I will say I recently gave my 3 oz bottle away to my aunt, like literally 2 days ago. It was pretty much new, but I never was able to wear it. I think it was too sweet and warm for me. Haha funny story: I had maybe one too many glasses of wine and was feeling super generous lol and gave away my bottle. The next day, I was like "eh I don't regret it," but I still want to have Black Opium in my collection, so I went on Mercari and ordered a roller size of it. I guess it is the fragrance collector/fanatic in me! BTW, I just ordered some Black Opium Intense samples, because it is killing me....I gotta know what it smells like! Great Review :)

Intense translates as a floral almond joy candy bar on my skin...the coffee note is loud on me with the original black Opium, but Intense smells like floral smooth dark chocolate covered almonds. Smelling like coffee is only ok on a barista. The coffee note in Black Opium lives on the edge of smelling nice but almost BO. There’s nothing special about Black Opium to me...I’d prefer to wear original Opium or be a candy bar snack with Intense.

The Nuit Blanche stands out to me as well so I bought it. I always, always get compliments from it. One of my coworkers literally kept coming by me sniffing me lol, she just kept saying you really smell amazing. I had bought Gardenia by Zara before finding out that it’s a dupe for the original Black Opium lol so I do wear that and found no rush to get BO because I get good performance from Zara’s Gardenia. But Nuit Blanche is my jam. Have a great day!

I went to my local Macy’s & was thinking about getting to the “Neon” flanker of YSL Black Opium. However, I never tried the “Black Opium Line;” so I asked for samples of the Intense, Original & Neon. I was immediately drawn to the Intense one; I paid something close to $100 for the 1.60 oz. My mom’s signature fragrance was “Opium,” when I was little, this vintage scent was strong stuff if you put too much on😁👍🏼
