The middle compartment is there only to preserve the structure of the bag 😊…otherwise the sides protrude out. You might enjoy the Chanel 19 small size which is the same in capacity but doesn’t have a middle compartment…but the sides often come out even with the organizer so when you close the bag gaps open up between the sides the the top flap…

I have three college bags in the large size. Love them! The two finger slide works perfectly for me and I don’t have a problem opening. I actually love the magnet because I have seen several magnetic openings that don’t keep the bag secure. I also purchased longer chain straps from Dress Up My Purse so I could carry the large size crossbody. Thanks for sharing!❤❤❤

I have this bag in black lambskin in the large size. I've had it for 3 years and it is very durable. Not a scratch or anything. I love it! It is such a comfortable bag to use, especially with the back pocket! The divider inside the large size is more useful because the space in the back is bigger. Thanks for your review!

I do the 2 finger slide in and unbutton. Mine has gotten a little better since using it a lot.

I have this bag in black with gold hardware and I love it! It's such a great bag. The back pocket is so useful and I like the top handle and cross body option. Yours is a pretty colour!

I agree. I don’t think the middle compartment is needed in the medium college bag, but I like having it in the large college bag, as it helps to organize your items better because of the size.

Hi Amber! I have the same bag in black with black hardware. I love it! One thing I did with the lock is, I left the clear sticker on and that makes it easier to open. I did a lot of research about the bag before I purchased it two months ago and somebody mentioned to put a clear tape on the magnetic closure to make it easier to open. I hope this helps. I love that bag on that size. Great for everyday, the color and material is a plus. The strong magnetic closure is a big plus for my security. I agree that there will be more room if the zip pocket inside is not there same as in other bags that has one. I wish for it to have one big open pocket. However i believe that it holds the nice structure of the bag like the pochette metis!

Than you for your review. I like the zipper section to put items like a card holder to keep them secured. The closure doesn’t bother me, I like it better so it’s more secure. I do agree that the leather could be different. I too love a top handle (I will add a short chain to some of my bags to make my own, plus the back pocket is a plus!! Enjoy your bag, it is beautiful

I love the colour. It’s so beautiful. I own a flap bag with very soft leather and it has the central zip compartment too. Initially I found it annoying but after having used it a lot for a year and a half I can now understand why they put it there. It supports the structure. My bag still looks great but I have seen other bags with soft leather and no central compartment and as they get older the sides collapse and spread and the whole bag looks like a melted ice cream. That would be very upsetting.

I bought my college bag in the black with silver hardware a couple of months ago, but unfortunately it did not work out for me so I ended up returning it. It's so weird because the bag has everything I like in a bag like the top handle and the back pocket plus I think it's so pretty, but for some reason it looked too edgy against my wardrobe. I think it could've been the color combination so I still might try it in a different color or hardware in the future. Meanwhile, I recently ended up getting the Mini Lock Me Ever from LV instead & so far I'm really liking it in the greige color with gold hardware. I wish this bag had a back pocket, but it does have feet & it doesn't have the middle compartment so it is more roomy than it seems. I also love the pink color inside & the beautiful chain. I ordered the Rosalie wallet in the cream color to use with this bag based on your recommendations. I do own the Zoe wallet in canvas so it will be interesting to see if I like this one better😊.

I absolutely love this bag. Your color choice in this bag is so pretty. My dilemma with this bag is I prefer the large size, but it's only a shoulder bag. I want to be able to wear it crossbody. I already have 2 small loulous, so getting the college bag in medium is redundant to me. If I can find a solution to the strap issue, I'll eventually get the large college bag.

I love this bag.. i have the black color, so far I dont have any issue with the leather.. but you are right, I wish they take out the zipper compartment, i dont even use it and sometimes the zipper scratch my fingers. Anyway, I Still love it And enjoy Yours too!

Hi Amber, I do not have a college bag but is one of the bags on my head since many many years. I think I’m waiting for the right color combination. Regarding the very tough opening, I saw a video where the owner had glued transparent protection stickers or Tesa film to the magnets and said it made it so much easier. It was a older video and I can not recall who did it. Is just an idea. I also like the envelope bag. Thank for comparing the leathers😉.

I had the same issue with the magnet on my LV, it was a struggle to open it every time and voila one day the flap came away with the magnet😢 so be wary of pulling it too hard!

Hi Amber! I have the same bag but in a different color-greenish-gray! I love her but like u, the closure is a bit tricky! Overall, she’s a keeper! I need to use her more since I had for over 6 months and only used once.😊

That's a lot of cons... Just goes to show you can tally it all up and technically have more reasons to dislike a bag than to like it but if the pros still outWEIGH the cons for you, then it makes sense that you love it. Personally, this is not the bag for me but I'm super happy for you and the colour is beautiful 💕💕

Love this model and colour so much 🤍🤍🤍 is the empty bag light cos the long chain seems very heavy. I feel like the hard openining is a huge plus cos at least no thief will steal from you
