I love the elegant look of this clutch! I have it in the black croc leather silver hardware but never used it! 😂 I’m so attempted to get this dark beige clutch with gold hardware, but I’m afraid it will end up sitting in my closet as well. I noticed that your Chanel WOC and Chloe Nile bags are in similar color and size to the YSL one. Wouldn’t they save the same purpose?

Ahh the black croc leather is gorgeous too! But if you don’t reach for it, I probably wouldn’t recommend getting another, despite how pretty the colour is 🤣 hmm they’re all similar in size, but they all look quite different imo. The Chloe nile is more of a causal bag to me and I wouldn’t use it for special occasions like weddings, whereas the YSL is definitely more of a fancy event or night out clutch. And my Chanel WOC is kind of in the middle. I was actually considering getting the YSL clutch in the off-white colour to use on my wedding day, but thought I already have my Chanel WOC, which was why I decided to go with this beige colour - I actually don’t have any beige bags in my collection! ☺️

Love it. U must buy organizer pouch to put inside. Like as samorga, handbagandangels, or kdaustralia. So far i bought from 3 of them. Organizer + chain straps from kdaustralia i make order today. Just wait my haul with patience. Next my hunting YSL too.🥰♥️

For $200 more you could just buy the ysl monogram envelope pouch and add a chain that will link on - it looks much nicer as well.

I had considered that, but I prefer the look of the uptown pouch. It just looks a lot more elegant in my opinion with the elongated/rectangular shape and the plain pebbled leather (without the chevron pattern) ☺️

Uhm why did I just notice that they had this?! I was worried my 6 key holder wouldn't fit but when you placed yours in there, I was sold. Thank you!! I got the same color as yours too. It's currently $625 at Bergdorf Goodman. I purchased using Rakuten which is currently offering 10% back...I forgot if that's before of after taxes but I'm getting at least $62.50 back.

Hello! Yes I have and it’s held up 😊 the magnetic closure is pretty strong and the bag isn’t that big where you can fit a heap of stuff anyway so it’s strong enough to withhold it ☺️

Do you think this would make a nice bridal purse? I have been eyeing the uptown pouch off for ages but I’m hesitant buying it in Blanc vintage even though it would be beautiful on my wedding day I don’t think I’d get as much use as I would the beige

Omg yes definitely!! I was actually considering the blanc vintage colour to use for my wedding day as well, but I already have the ivory iridescent Chanel woc that I could use instead, so I decided to go with this dark beige colour since I don’t own anything in this colour in my collection. The blanc vintage colour is beautiful. It depends if you think you’ll use it on other days too and if you own a white bag in your collection already. But for the price of the uptown pouch, you can go wrong 😊

I’ve got some small water marks on my neverfull straps. Is there a way to get them off? Or when it darkens over time will it just become less noticeable ? Xx (U.K.)

Unfortunately not 😕 if you try and get the marks off the vachetta leather, you might run the risk of making the marks worse. It will definitely become less noticeable over time as the strap naturally darkens ☺️

Unfortunately that’s the price you have to pay for beautiful leather 😭 it’s raw cowhide leather that hasn’t been treated so it’s really prone to stains. I’d opt for Damier Ebene print bags with the chocolate brown leather if you want to avoid stains because the leather has already been treated. But the vachetta leather is beautiful it’s also a classic heritage piece to Louis Vuitton - a lot of their vintage bags have that dark honey coloured vachetta leather it will gradually develop over time. If you purchase any more bags with vachetta leather in future, I suggest spraying it with a coat of Apple Garde water protectant spray. You’ll find a lot of KZbin videos about it ☺️

Definitely! It’s such a gorgeous and classic bag. I’ve been eyeing it myself 😜 but I wouldn’t recommend it in the monogram canvas given all the vachetta leather. I would probably get it in the Damier Ebene or even the epi leather is really nice too ☺️ what are you thinking?

Both are beautiful! It’s up to you if you prefer the chevron pattern - I personally prefer the smooth look of the uptown pouch ☺️ I haven’t had colour transfer so far, but I’ve only used it a handful of times as we keep going into lockdown. But this beige is not too light and I think it’ll wear well because it’s grained calfskin leather. I think the wear on the smooth leather would be more noticeable.

Good question! I just hold onto the flap when I open it so the chain kind of hovers in place, if that makes sense 😅 I was careful when I first used it that way but after a couple of times, I’ve gotten used to it ☺️

Looks cute but seems very impractical with no chain (or the possibility of the chain falling out) or wristlet. I’d highly recommend getting the wristlet at YSL instead. I have the large in that and it has card slots built in. I love it but the smaller one is more practical. About the same price range.

Thank you for the suggestion! 🥰 I had considered that too but the uptown pouch just spoke to me more. I prefer the simplicity of it without the chevron pattern. I feel like it looks a lot more elegant and dressy with the envelope shape and the plain leather. That’s just my opinion. But I totally agree with you about the wristlet being more practical! 🙈

Thats defo not a good deal i got this clutch exact same one in black for 485 including tax and shipping from harrods its a london based huge huge mall typr of store for rich people mainly🤣 but thats how much it is on harrods so 700 plus is way to much for that u over payed hunny
