Sparring should be taken with a grain of salt. Ive seen videos of Tank getting beat up by the sparring king. Also Shakur. The sparring king wouldnt win in a real boxing match against them guys. Plus Floyd got beat up against Paul Spadafora but we know would lose if they fought under the lights. Plus this was almost 10 years ago and Haney was a kid. Haney is way bigger and stronger now. Tank wouldnt man handle Haney like this now. Theres a reason why Tank is not calling Haney out but Haney is calling Tank out. Tank knows it wont be easy and Haney has gotten 10x better over the years.

Only way I could see tank slowing down and stopping is Floyd and them telling him to turn it down and he got tired like literally saying “I’m done beating on him and I’m gassed” because from that video I can tell tank really controlled that sparring match and did whatever he wanted to do. The craziest thing about all this is that it's been pretty straight forward from the beginning. Dev said Tank caught him with some good shots, but eventually Tank gassed and didn't want to continue. Here's where the critical thinking comes in. Tank who was already a pro, more than likely didn't want to keep punishing a 16 year old Dev. So he touches Dev up, gets his point across, then bowed out before any real damage was done. I mean think about it. Dev in 2024 isn't hurting his opponents, so Dev at 16 was probably like a mosquito biting tank. To keep it a buck, at that time, the only possible way Dev wins the bread is if Tank let him.

Let's see if they release Floyd vs Spence sparring match unedited because they say Spence put in work but no one hardly talks about it or brings it up! Releasing edited sparring is a sucker move, more so when one boxer was 16 years old and the boxer is 20 years old. If Tank says Haney is easy work why not fight him and get him out of the way. Tank will be 30 years old at the end of the year and Haney will be 26. Time is not on Tank side.
