You my dear friend are a very intelligent human being. I'm an engineer and fully understand your process, methods and fluid dynamics obviously as you do too. Your video presentation is outstanding and the way in which you apply multiples in process is admirable because it is correct 👍 *As a note to you* If you are not already educating the younger generations, please do so ,and the "above header precautionary notice you've stipulated is very important also- yes it can explode and be dangerous 👍 Thankyou for your wonderful efforts in presenting this on this platform and other platforms aswell if you've not done already! This is exactly why KZbin was created. It's YOU and who what you are without contrived nonsense! You have a very good knowledge of fluid dynamics and mechanical principles that are your asset that is quite valuable to future generations and in saying so myself , please continue to inspire the future generations for they need you and people like you and I to show them in practice what is doable even when there is little at hand to achieve great feats. Very interesting design, I see that the 3 valves could not only help in long-term operation but also with the pressure, however, I think it'd be smarter to make the 3 valves have their gates(or whatever you'd call the part that actually helps with the switching) physically connected to each other for synchronization (even tho it's able to sync by itself), or just use one single huge valve. Also, I'm pretty sure the vibration will eventually make the nuts move out of place which will require manual tuning again, a simple fix for that would just be adding another nut or using something like Locktite ig.

@@jduzivotem3985 Now that i think about it, sure one can put electric pump on the intake or just swapping it to output when he climbs up, pressurizing the system and turn it off an on again to create the pressure change, but faking it takes more effort in automation than building this and ram pumps do create considerably less flow compared to main stream but if you look the water reserve pipe, there is hefty amount coming to keep it empty. Fill the dam full and it probably could work least until dam is empty. I would love to build one to test this but lack any flowing water most of the year, so there is no point in that regard.

I thought about this as a marine engineer. There should be 2 necessity. 1 is a running water. 2 is the vacuum. Water runs and fills that 3 pipes. When the amount passes critical amount the wacuum on the hollow kicks in and let 3 check valves to open, sucks a certain amount of water. Then the outside air pressure becomes higher than the vacuum, water starts running from 3 pipes to outside until the cycle repeats itself. The sucked in water should go up since the check valves do not let them go back down. Those 3 bolts and nuts adjusts the amount of water in the 3 pipe chamber.

Whenever using PVC pipe and couplings always glue both pieces even though it says cement, it is a welding chemical, that literally melts both pieces together , traditionally, not a glue. And as we both know wet concrete does not stick to dry concrete.
Very good. Simple yet complex 👍 The valve assembly with the slotted pipe in a pipe is excellent. I've never had a pvc glue with that long of an open time. The glue here hardens in 6 or 8 months so I just buy this blue lava stuff that is always on clearance. It is about as fast as they get. Not sure any of it is open that long. I've used near all of the different kinds and the most longest not more than 30 seconds. Might need polyurethane glue to have enough time to assemble it.

Wow! Because I don't have much of a fall here to pump water from creek up the 80 meters, I did not go ahead with the ram pump. This idea here is pretty much like our place. Hears hoping. Thank you for giving me another idea.

not sure splitting the flow in three is a good idea. One big valve might better to preserve the pressure?

Wow that's a giant RAM pump! I wonder how high it'll pump? I also was wondering why you changed out the PVC tank for the metal one? Lastly, do you sell these?

You can buy it as a kit in your local hardware store.
