I can see why Johnny always falls for a damsel. He's lonely. Yeah, his life is full of travel, excitement and lots of drinks. Now that i think of it, had he been married his wife if not understanding would go mad at his constant travels. Imagine sitting down for dinner or getting cozy on the sofa for a quiet evening at home or a romp of hot steamy sex just for the phone to ring and..... welp! U guessed it. Item such and such for a flight to such and such.

Johnny actually had a girlfriend named Betty Lewis, but she is only in a few episodes. There was an episode where she was suspected of Murder, and Johnny investigates. Of course she was innocent.
