just some bullshit critique, if u dont appreciate i wont do this again: 1. the pacing is generally pretty slow. this is a vital issue since the main source of humor in a classic style ytp is the element of surprise. the more brisk your pacing is, the less time people have to guess ur next joke. when u leave the same joke going for too long, it can ruin it, even if u find the joke funny (unless the intent is for the joke to go on too long on purpose). another good thing about a quick pace is if someone doesnt like the joke, it quickly moves on to the next one so u dont have as much time to groan at it. 2. the jokes dont play off of eachother enough. the dad's head is shown multiple times as a horse, and yet no one makes any sort of reference or horse based joke around it. the neighbor is shown as michael jackson, but you didnt bother to sentence mix mj to say something funny or even just dub him in with the tenacious d "I WANNA F U" 3. predictability. many of the jokes are very surface level and dont really go past what anyone would initially come up with. if u want to maintain the element of surprise u need to take your first two ideas and obscure them by a degree or two. for example 3:45 "microwavable DINNER" is the most obvious joke ever, so if u want to take people off guard u should make it say something people wouldnt expect. 4. sentence mixing. this one is a bit of a personal take since idk what exactly your intent was with sentence mixing. i can only assume you were trying to make it sound as clear as possible but i could be wrong so i apologize if that's so. anyway, u left large gaps of dead air some of the sentence mixing that step on the pacing pretty harshly. again if this was your intent i apologize for bringing it up, but it did feel like it stuck out. 5. unedited content. u have a general thing u do where u leave one character's line unedited, and its only the next line from another character thats edited. why not edit both parts? 6:04 "be a good little fella and open the door". you could have easily edited that in some way instead of leaving it in unedited. if its just there for context then that amount of context isnt really necessary. u could have even cut the line and went straight to the gunshots if u couldnt think of anything. there is also too much dead air in between some lines that you coulda cut that woulda helped with pacing. i apologize if this comes off as rude or demeaning, that's not my intent i promise. im not trying to discourage u from making stuff, these are just suggestions. i could be totally wrong, you do you
