YTP: The King Visits Morshu's Restaurant

here's a quick little thing i made during the weekend after binge-watching iteachvader's excellent Adventures in Hyrule series! this all started off as a short script i wrote in five minutes for fun, which i later decided to try making into a full video. i think i did pretty good for a two-day effort :D
other videos are still being worked on btw. vegas has just been acting up these past couple of weeks so work has been slowed considerably. hopefully this video shall provide you with enough entertainment to last until the next one comes! (whenever that may be :P)

The rope's obviously some kind of noodles. The "lamp oil" is likely a brightly colored cocktaul, The bombs are a thing with a pressure lid that Morshu undoes in a certain way as a means of serving it, but Gwonam knocked over and broke the seal, which made it explode.

How did you learn to make ytp’s? I have Sony vegas 14, but am honestly pretty inexperienced

so was i for a looong time!! the only thing to do is to Mess Around, with Everything >:) try out new things with each ytp, get weird ideas and think about how to make them real... embrace the rough edges + scuffed moments along the way! that's what makes ytp extra fun to watch :D

i've put my azumanga poop on the backburner for a while, so that i can finish up another YTP i'm working on (which was meant to be a collab entry but i missed the deadline because of computer problems >.

i always just throw on a vignette effect - usually with third-party plugins, but with default Sony Vegas you can also do the same with the built-in 'Bump Map' effect (and a lot of tweaking :P)

but it would just be unrealistic if i didn't put that in! in fact i ought to have also included a sound effect of the king breathing, hearing his mouth inhale and exhale in glorious detail as he slowly blinks his hyper-realistic eyelids
