"The battery is fully charged"!??? Ah. Battery powered.
Yes I am amazed at the fact that his legs did not give out from lactic acid buildup. He did an amazing job. Also, it was nice to see a guy swimming him out of the water, because he must have had no strength left to swim himself.

離陸から旋回までカットされるの、それだけ完璧で危なげない飛行だったんだろうな

Based on the wake from the chase boats, he’s averaging around 25-30kph ground speed, which means that trip was at least 2 hours of very strenuous exercise, and I’m betting coasting isn’t really an option up there. Add in any wind, could easily double the journey’s length. Wow, and incredible effort and engineering is all I can say.

ground speed over the 60km course was between 18 and 27kph.

"Let's see the Great Leslie do that!" Amazing accomplishment.
Great job. Also, that was the strangest audio I have ever heard. It was like they were trolling themselves.

sounded like they spliced in audio from a baby monitor lol.

I watched the entire thing again in Japanese. I couldn't understand a word, yet somehow it made way more sense. Thank you, @@CapSora! I get it now: the English audio track is not a translation; it's a practical joke. Haha, you got me, guys!
