Yu Darvish dominant with 12 strikeouts vs. Giants

Yu Darvish struck out 12 Giants batters, an early season high, to earn the win on April 30, 2021. He showed six different pitches for third strikes, including three strikeouts apiece on his slider and sinker. Darvish's 49 strikeouts set a club record for the most by a Padres pitcher through their first six starts with the team.

The announcers can’t even keep up with Yu’s pitch variety. He threw a 95mph two seamer and they called it a 4 seam. That thing moved like CRAZY!

Idk if hes using pine tar, but I can tell that he is been struggling for a couple seasons then all of a sudden, hes one of the top pitchers in mlb. We didnt see his progress of getting better. It was just all of a sudden. So its very strange.
