This angle is amazing. These guys throw the ball so effortlessly. It’s really remarkable to watch how fluid the ball comes out of their hand.

The mark his right foot leaves off the mound traces over the same spot over and over. Crazy how tuned they are to repeating the same motions over and over exactly.

Yeah it’s a shame. He still gets 200 SO but he gets lit up more often now. I honestly think it’s cause he runs 10 different pitches. Some of his crazy stuff really must put a lot of stress on his arm. I feel if he cut it down to 4-6 pitches he is the most comfortable with he can extend his career. Even in 2020 he was 8-3 with a 2.0 ERA. He still has the juice. Just needs to adapt a little.

I was beaned in 6 year old baseball as a kid. On top of me being terrible my baseball career came to a swift end. Watching these guys pitch gives me ptsd…

that's weird. Darvish getting grumpy about hitting the imaginary batter. he's done this routine so much, in his mind it's real to him... maybe, he should break with the pattern? - control his psychology a bit more... you know what happened? - the announcer's 'loud noises' spooked him...and it carried over into his subconscious psychology, causing him to hit the imaginary batter...

How anyone actually makes contact with a baseball during a MLB game is just a mystery to me. That looks impossible to hit and he’s probably throwing at 70%
